It would be cool to put some 5-7 sec. videos of frogs and terrariums while you talking. Dont get wrong, it is interesting to hear what you are talking about, but over time gets boring to watch. Like your tanks!
This was actually really informative and helpful! especially about the waterfall, since I thought it'd be cool but it seems like a pain to build and the fact that you said he might break down eventually makes sense. Online you mostly get 'facts' but not many actual advice from experiences, so thank you!
Mike, Great video! Can you possibly show some of your substrate layers and what type of cages you are using next time. The information is awesome but would be even better if you could possibly show some of the stuff you are explaining. Thanks again for the info.
Great tanks! Can you show where you place your fans? are they turned on all day? from what i understand is they just circulate air in the room and also go through the vents of your tanks?
RODI prevents minerals from building up on the glass and from clogging the fine misting nozzles. Frogs are also really sensitive because their skin in permeable and they can absorb toxins from their environment. Some tap water has chlorine and potentially toxic chemical compounds in it, RODI will remove those. $70-100 for a unit my seem steep but I can assure you it is well worth it.
Nik Marren , well i cant buy ro and just put it in the faucet ): i live at an apartment thats why. But distilled water is okay right? i am from canada and i can say that water here is kinda clean tho but dont want to waste the misting nozzle.
Christian Arvin distilled should be fine, but it can be a pain having to go to the store and get it all of the time. Aquarium stores usually sell RODI water too. You could call your town or city water system and ask them about your water quality. City water usually goes through a large cleaning system and tends to have chlorine/chloramine in it. Well water can have a lot of minerals in it they can harmful or beneficial. Sometimes it can be soft with little to nothing in it as well. It is always situational. Do what works for your situation and what's best for the frogs!
If your tap water is pure enough to drink, it is fine to use. I was thrown off by that aswell and I've been told tap water in the u.s. just has many impurities.

Hi Troy, I really enjoy your video's and are already looking forward to the next one in the 'series'
thanks for the video. You mention 8 times per day, but how many seconds per mist?
AWesome video man! I don't think I caught how long your misting is on, I know you said 8 times a day but how long is each misting cycle
Mike Tytula it varies from 12 seconds to 30 seconds
What wouldn't you say the humidity is in your tanks with that much misting? And do you mist overnight or are those 8 cycles during the day only?
Do you sell any of the froglets you get and if so how do we purchase them because I've been wanting some oophaga but I can't ever find any
Hey Troy, what size diamond drill bit you recommend to drill a glass top to install mistaking nozzles? Is it 1/4 or 5/8? Any advice is appreciated.
Awesome video I’d love to see a video on your RO system and how it’s setup!
Mike,

Steven Reyes after the vlog series is done I'm going so to some how to series whenever my new tank gets here
Steven Reyes and Troy... not Mike
Are you running the standard heads or premium heads curious if you think there worth the extra cost.
Standard
Perfect if your running them no reason to pay for something I won't see a benefit from.
Great tanks! Can you show where you place your fans? are they turned on all day? from what i understand is they just circulate air in the room and also go through the vents of your tanks?
i just have 2 box fans on high, in 2 corner blowing toward the tanks
Troy Goldberg thanks appreciate it!
Hi Troy, any details on how you plumed your RO directly in? Is it via a reservoir?
madlan yeah I'll have to show a video one day
I would be very interested in seeing this as well! Thanks for the awesome videos!
Very informative talking wise. Just wish we could maybe see the setup??
Lol go to my channel….. tons of setup videos there
What are the pvc pipes for
the Monsoon is crap, have one gutted the brainbox and use a mistking timer on it.
yeah mistaking is on a different level in comparison!
Does it really need to be distilled water?
