Thanks for sharing. 72' Printing Management grad. Sounds like little has changed in 52 years. I have fond memories of my days there. Met my best friend on first day of week of welcome in 67'. If I remember right tuition, room and board on campus for the first year was like $1400.

I did four years of the Air Force after high school and am now looking for a school to transfer to after I finish up at my community college (computer science major). I'm only 24, but the segment on transfer students got me wondering how well I would be able to find my own group of people. I figure this would be the case at most colleges, but I have no clue really.

I think some schools have more transfer students than others! But overall I think cal poly has a strong campus life and it’s probably easier to meet people there than a lot of other schools.

Hey I went to cal poly as a transfer student and they put you in a wow group with all other transfer students. I found I connected well with other transfers when I went there.

On a similar question, what did your sister do with her IE degree and how easy was it to find a job?

She was actually a construction management major. She was referencing her friend who did Industrial engineering who now works for a bio tech company!
