I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but:
For Sabin's blitz techniques, if there is a diagonal input, you can sorta cheat by hitting either of the directions for the diagonal. So for a down-left, you can hit either down or left for the same input.
It makes bigger blitzes much easier to do.
For example, the aura bolt is down, down, left instead of down-roll-left.

I think you are right. I have just hit the diagonal on the stick and it works fine

Correct those shortcuts are easier to do especially if you have his FINAL blitz but I can't easily kill Intangirs WITHOUT it.

Well at lv 19 its FIRE ball move can and will easily 1 shot the party that's why I won't fight it even at lvs over 50 without 4x flame shield users

Galypdes has a UNCOMMON steal on him: Celestriad. HE'S the guy to FARM those off of! For Ribbons, use the "Brachiosaur" with that little trick I mentioned! Also taking Shadow to the VELDT is RISKY because HE can EASILY be HIT by "Rippler" there from the "Leap Frogs" and "Dark Force" enemies! BEST to AVOID that as well! Also you don't have to give Gau dried meat when he returns to you. The ONLY time you have to give him dried meat is the FIRST time you recruit him in the game! Remember, when you go for Jidoor CHECK ALL the PAINTINGS in Owzer's Mansion BEFORE you go get Relm(PARTICULARLY the painting of the "Pink Still-Life Flowers"!)! THAT is a MISSABLE RAGE(And his BEST ONE IN the GAME!) for Gau! It's Rafflesia! You WANT that rage!

The ribbon steal is pointless but the Celestriad steal isn't worth it that enemy barely has a 1% CHANCE just to SHOW UP in the Phoenix Cave and went lving to lv 99 from lv 50 odds are you'll get a LEAST 1 Brachosaur to drop it.
Phoenix Cave is BRUTAL even at lvs over 50 and at lv 20 even the NORMAL enemies can still kill you instantly since 1 CAN use 1000 needles and don't even THINK of fighting the Red dragon their WITHOUT 4x Flame shield users.
Dark Force at first is Kefka's Tower its just that even at lv 99 Cyan/Umaro are pure crap and won't be in the my party their the Frogs only use it on their 3rd turn and their weak enough AT lv 50+ to kill them in 1 hit that only leaves the BLUE Dragon boss that Shadow must NEVER fight.
