  • Here's our daily chore/cleaning list for my kids and how I hope to take a few things off my plate! We needed some specific jobs for each kid (ages 10, 9, 7) and the summer is a GREAT time to practice. I was just randomly asking kids to do chores, and trying to remember who did what last. It wasn't working, and so we're spending the summer to get routines down that will help so much when the homeschool year starts!
It's been 3 weeks with some summer camp interruptions, but already each kid is doing so much more to help out with the messes they create!

Thank you! I’ve used this all summer and think it’s been helpful!

What time of day do you have your kids read to themselves? I want to be consistent with enforcing that this summer 😊

It's typically been early afternoon when my 3 year old is napping, so the house is a bit more quiet. Sometimes it looks more like two chunks of time rather than all at once.

@@LizBlueandHazel I’m having a hard time with it! None of my kids want to read. We do a 30 minute read time and they all whine about it 😪 probably I need to cut out TV time completely or at least most days because I’m thinking that would help.
