A very beautiful building with the rippling glass - it makes it look like pieces of the building is missing. I easily spend an entire day in a museum - if I ever get to Antwerp this is one to see!
I'm here from watching your #shorts video. This is really impressive, I was mesmerized. It's great that you can get into and shoot those beautiful corners. Your drone shots are priceless, so good!
About 4 hours filming. The editing is usually in steps. One day I do the arranging, Second day color correcting, final day adding text and fine tuning. I think all together about 12 hrs for this one.
The first museum was a pretty cool museum. I loved the toilet exhibit. That was a beautiful sail boat half way though the video and was a nice prelude to the maritime museum. I love the old model wooden boats.
Very interesting building from outside, Very well organized city all around. Love it. Will pay a visit when I get chance to go there. Thanks of sharing.
@@SnowbirdLife It was the area where the old harbour used to be. With the moving and expanding of the harbour the area was in decay in the 90s. After that the area attracted new people that started renovating and "het eilandje" became more popular. The building is brand new and is a combinations of more musea that used to be elsewhere.

@@TravelInPink Why did the city decided to build a museum there in the water? Is it a brand new building or an existing one converted to a museum?

Very known place in Antwerpen, I never been inside, thanks for showing this to us 👍
Actually it's free to go to the top. Only during these times it's not. The visit to the museum is a small fee 😉
@@TravelInPink thanks for the precious info 😉
You are welcome 😉
45 years ago as a kid - the Scheepvaart museum was still in Het Steen, the old castle. All I remember were the excellent ship models.
Love this! Xx
So glad!
🥰
Been to Antwerp but not to this museum . Good one!
Next time 😉
Thanks 👍
nice video - what camera are you using?
Thanks!
I'm using the Sony A7iii but I do use the DJI RS2 Stabiliser. 😉👍
I have been to antwerp, special people there. So that matches with this weird building :P
😂😂😂😂
Nice drone shots, are you allowed to openly fly them legally there?
Thank you very much. No you need approval.
Is this like you see on the hotel video but the inside?
Yes you noticed it correctly. It's just across the cityloft hotel
Did you fly your drone over Antwerp? Is that allowed? Impressive museum for sure! I have never been inside! ATB 😀 Kaat
Yes impressive indeed! 😉
museum aan de stroom it is baroque ?
