My personal opinion (for anyone who cares) - What you and team Apex did with that particular press car is literally the best showcase for such a vehicle, it helped you and part of Germany during and after a massive and horrific natural disaster. It was the best PR Audi have had since they built the quattro, too many of these manufacturers have their heads up their bums and literally can't see good from bad. Audi, who the hell are you employing as your reps? If you have such a shortage of decent reps who could see the potential in situations like this, don't just hire chimps, throw me a message, this whole situation could have been turned into an amazing PR campaign, how normal everyday Audi cars, which might not be built for it, but still do an amazing job even in situations of natural disaster, bringing back the whole quattro heritage thing... I don't think you owed Audi any apology. I don't know what, if any, kind of contract you may have signed said or stipulated about usage of the car, but given the circumstances I think you did the best you could, and it was great. After the flooding, you couldn't take the car on the Nürburgring because it was closed, but you showed real world usage of the car and how it could be used daily, and I would say it passed those tests with flying colors. I would guess that more than 80% of RS6s rarely get pushed to the limits, so to see it hauling people, supplies, driving through some off-road-ish type scenarios is great. I think the car is beautiful, and if I were in the market and position to buy such a car, I would have considered it, because who doesn't like a performance wagon. But after this, no thanks.

It’s easy to say, “Oh, I won’t buy an Audi now,” as a vehicle such as this is out of reach for many. However, it all goes back to an old customer service proverb: A happy customer might tell one friend; a disgruntled customer will tell ten.
I will share this with a least ten friends.
Ford: You’re working for flood relief? Take all our fleet!
Audi: Who do you think you are driving our car through mud?!?
    Audi FAIL.

Hade few Audis myself, last one was A6 C7.5 Allroad, sold it last year. Was thinking of getting C8 next year, but after this, absolutely not. Loved every one of the cars I had, but this is just a bullshit.

Just imagine the ad where the RS6 ist complete covered with mud on a path somewhere in the area. With the message: Was a pleasure to support fast help.
This could have been a great PR job.

Ford giving 3 vans. Audi b*tching about the RS6. What a difference. Guys, don't buy RS6, buy a Mustang instead.

@@ssc00p At that price, 175'000, could you get both? Practicality in one, fun in the other.

As many here have said, Audi missed an excellent opportunity to be supportive and still advertise the RS6. And gained fame in rallys!!!!!
Great job from everyone who is helping people right now. From Rio de Janeiro.

A proper ahole in the Audi PR, this sort of driving is what this sort of car is designed for, or maybe it isn't, it cannot handle tough situations, it's only any good on a flat smooth road, so if I want a sporty and rugged estate that can handle anything a Audi is not the car to go for, that is some useful info Audi PR department.

Audi takes the BMW Marketing fails to the next level. But whilst I could laugh about BMW, the lack of empathy from Audi makes me speechless.

I wish we could have given you a car to help these people in desperate need. Keep up the amazing work. It is far more important than auto PR driving sales.

Real joke is that a car used to do PR with journalists ends up asking for oil in less that 2 weeks time…

Misha will have been the most careful drive that car has had yet they demand it to be returned without a scratch.
