Keegan Brown is one I though would come back strong after losing his card two years ago. Hopefully he will come back. Also I would like to mention Paul Krohne, who gave back his card to focus on his work. While he wasn't a big deal over the last year's pro tour, his performances in the Super League showed how good he is and what potential he has, when he goes all in on Darts.
Great to see Steve Beaton doing well on the Modus Super Series in his first event there, playing some incredible dart! Can tell he's just come off the pro tour 👍
I was impressed with Sherrock and Greaves at Q school - former was above her usual level every day so was in with a decent shout, latter suddenly turned up and gave glimpses of how good she was in 2023
Saw Jimmy van Schie at the WDF Finals @ Lakeside and thought he'd get thru to be fair. Wonder if the PDC will hand out any wild cards to Beau Greaves and Fallon Sherrock? From a marketing perspective you'd have to say it makes sense.
@@sonylemp77 I think they should leave it at 128 until the vast majority of TC holders can make a living from darts as 'professional' dart players. In the OOM players at around no 100 are getting approx 10k a year and it goes down from there. The money would be spread too thinly once you get past the top 64
Devon Peterson …. Had that 1 year were he was playing unreal , remember afew games he played gezzy and gezzy had to average around 115 to beat him (dev averaged around same if not more) then it all just went to pot for him …. Lovely bloke aswell 1 of my favourites , is darts starting to become a young man’s game Matt ?
Not a Tour Card Question but watching the Modus Seniors Highlights but want your view. Does Burnett have a major case of The Yips or do you think he's slipped back into old habits? Just watching his body language after throws as well as behind his opponent and it's... concerning
They don’t play the main tour and therefore can’t qualify for most tournaments. But some spaces in some majors don’t need a tour card, for example open qualifiers for the UK Open. Regional qualifiers for the World Championship, and there is a secondary tour the Challenge Tour that those without a card play on. If you are right at the top of the Challenge Tour rankings you can qualify for some of the big tournaments still, and also win a tour card at the end of the year. Another thing is the top players on the challenge tour are invited to play on the main tour throughout the year, as replacements for any tour card holders who aren’t participating in a particular events for whatever reason. And despite not having a tour card, you can still win money and qualifications as a replacement player. So Connor Scott for example didn’t have a tour card, but as a replacement player on a couple of occasions he managed to do well and qualify for some tournements and became top 64 despite not having a tour card but this gave him one for 2025 automatically
I personally think the ladies should have their own series etc to help boost ladies etc coming into the game. Just look at ladies football Rugby Union etc flying high and yes always on our TV screens etc. I believe a new major sponsor for ladies darts and yes ladies Snooker would boost the quality and yes the amount of ladies darts Snooker on our TV screens
Perhaps the compromise is there's 3-4 events over the year, broadcast on RUclips say that combines PDC women and WDF women etc. with the winner getting a direct entry into the World Champs of their choice. Politics of sport though could be an issue.
There is already a women's series and a matchplay. Top 2 on the series get an invite to the worlds. The matchplay is on Sky and might be a featured board on PDCTV during the floor tournaments
97 criminal charges including breaking into a 83yrs house and robbing 3k and weighing in a bloke in a wheelchair then taking his wallet. I doubt he will be back

Keegan brown was great like 10-5 years ago but every time I’ve watched him it seems like he’s averaging 80

Andreas Harryson and Darius Labanauskas
De Zwaan will hopefully return next year
A big year on the Challenge Tour and Modus could do him wonders
Can we get another parking lot watch video and guess which direction the cars are going to turn? Missing those days.
Great lockdown lives
Thanks Matt, as always... great inside info and opinion.

Did they get through?
@alfiedamage9203 no neither did, Greaves got closer but missed out by 2 points
Lewis v Price would be box office will all those theatrics
Battle of the bell ends 🔔
Go back and watch their Matchplay matches from a few years ago.
De Zwaan, Krcmar, Rowby-John, McGuirk
Do you think Merv will try the Challenge Tour?
I want the jackpot to come back
He should still be in the top 10, but we'll see how he does in the Modus
I don’t see him ever regaining his form, but hopefully he can.
Saw Jimmy van Schie at the WDF Finals @ Lakeside and thought he'd get thru to be fair.

Las Vegas open this weekend. Was hoping the Primetime Player would be there!
Are there sponsor exemptions in tournaments on the PDC?
Yozza Hughes.
What about Boris Krčmar
Great shout that
Thought he was very unfortunate to lose his card and it was surprising to see him miss out on winning it back
What happened to Vincent and Kevin on the Modus this week?
Jeff Smith ...
Matt, given the popularity of darts and the number of quality players, can you see the PDC ever increasing tour cards from 128 to 160?
How would pro tours work with 160 players
I would increase to 192 tour cards in future years , top 64 in the pro tour get byes into round 2

He’s struggled with release for about 10 years maybe more now
Do you think we could see Adrian Lewis playing WDF events this year ?
Modus yes WDF no
@@Edgartvdartswhat's difference between modus and wdf in terms of organisation, money, ranking so on?
It would be sacrilegious seeing a top PDC pro like Lewis and 2x PDC World Champion in the WDF.

Alexander Merkx, Daniel Klose and Jurjen van der Velde

David Cameron
Good list.a lot of them will find q schools hard, maybe they should go to European q school.
I noticed darren webster didnt go to q school
Most important question is who will steal Vincent Van Der Vort's music?
Im Surprised that u know Althaus
Here's three decent players who seem to have retired, Darren Webster, James Wilson, Jason Lowe.

A couple of years ago Paul Nicholson said he would try again, but i reckon thats unlikely now.....how about another strange shout...Corey Cadby....!
I think 'visa issues' is the polite way of saying why Cadby is not coming back.
Not just visa issues , Cadby have a serious issues with law !

Cadby is inadmissible to the UK because of his criminal record
I'm disappointed there's no picture of horses or donkeys on the screen behind you, Matt 🐴😂
The two time world champion Scott Waites
Unfortunate Shane McGuirk didn't make the cut. A lot of promise, hopefully he builds on his last year
Alex spellman

Corey Cadby.
I think that the tour should extend to top 100 to 128
I feel like the players ranked outside of the top 32 in the PDC have the most serious disadvantages…
It's already 128?

Van de velde didnt win one right
correct
Matthew Edgar
