There are so many people that are not in the spotlight, there are so many people out there with valuable thoughts and insights. Let's not let the negative narrative and our cynicism derail the statistical reality of people being on a bo spectrum ( and a lot of other very valuable properties.)
i would like to add that it is very likely that several people you "know" have a lot of depth to them that you would never expect, people mostly don't just publicly talk about their private insights/ emotions and experiences. Be open to be suprised, these people you are searching for/that are on the same path as you (whatever that might be right now) might be right around the corner :). Have a good life.
Also, it was a small company movie. They had pretty much no trailers on live tv, so it’s hard to find. But it came out recently, so I see why it would be hard to find a movie theater with it.
omg I watched his youtube videos in 2007 and totally forgot about him. recently I tried to remember his name but I couldnt and now I stumbled upon this video
This seems like a genuinely great experience for the girl, Kayla, at that age. Most of the time, even when a youngster does a decent job at something artistic, it seems kind of fiendish in terms of the environment for the youthful individuals at stake.
L For Lawliet I thought the same thing!!! Im pretty sure that nerds was just a separate thing before this though. I do think he’ll carry themes from nerds into it. Nerds and 8th grade will probably be similar because they’re both about crappy school experiences and whatnot but I think that’s just because it’s something bo identifies with and feels he needs to articulate it to spread awareness if that makes sense. :)
I assumed as much judging by what he said in the interview. In all seriousness, I'll really miss it as he is my favorite comedian and I still hope he'll find a way to love it again, but I wouldn't be happy watching it if I knew it wasn't what he wanted to do. I still hope I'll get to see more creative content from his like this film. Bo is just so damn intelligent and he's so good at delivering a message to an audience!
Bo, if you're reading this, keep doing what you love! You're awesome! i would love to meet you someday for an autograph, but that will take a while! To the rest of the cast of Eighth Grade, do awesome! ~ A fan
SpoonOfPower yea he's stopped for a while. He's making this movie, he's producing some stuff. It's very cool. He's only 27, he'll be back to stand up over the years. He was awesome at 20 years old as a comic, imagine how amazing he'll be at 30 or 40?
I wish this was longer so interesting what he said at the end
i honestly love that man
Maddie Bender no you fucking don't!
lol
Maddie Bender you don’t love him, you love the idea of him
No you fuckin don't
i honestly.. really want him to be okay. i don’t care what he does but i really really want him to be alright.
Agreed
So glad to see Bo doing this. Good for Bo.

So was Nerds a part of this movie's creation? Or an earlier idea or something?

Thank you Bo for understanding what its like to be a skinny nerd sitting in the back, anxious and scared and scarred with razor blades' kiss.

SpoonOfPower he did stop. Sorry :(

SpoonOfPower No, he is taking a break. He is doing shows at the Largo once in a while.
I love both of you even though I just found out about one of you
So is he done with standup
Does this mean Bo is done with standup?
Am I the only one concerned about his head size?
Yes.
