Very true! I have another video on here showing how to do just that. If you do it right and trigger Visas early enough you can get 2 Lightsabers on Nar Shaddaa super quick!

You should definitely give it a whirl. He is an ass hole. I usually have to bust out the bait into mines technique on him. Just when you are about to defeat him, he pulls out the Force Heals and throws a wrench in your plan lol
Dantoonie is always the first place I go to after telos since I can always gather all of the remaining lightsaber parts before the battle with Khoonda. Also, when going dark side, I always left Vrook in the cage and I was always able to turn in the will and bodies to Zherron with no issues.
The easiest way to get a powerful lightsaber crystal would be to get Death Field/Force Wave/Force Storm/ Plague, save Jorran on Dantooine, go to the cave on Korriban, go to the jedi corpse, spam press it, kill the Hssiss until you're around level 20, go back to Dantooine and save infront of Jorran. Then just give him the 1000 credits and then reload when you get something bad. I got a Kaiburr Crystal and a Barab ore ingot using this on two of my characters. (Without using TSLRCM)
I'm almost certain that the lightsaber part is triggered randomly by quests. Not sure if main quests count but I always do a random quest on Dantooine or Nar Shadaa. Pops up for me always after a quest or two. Still not 100% certain on the triggers either
The lightsaber part triggers are in specific locations on each planet. Telos from the Ithorians or Czerka. One from Visas. Lootra and Vogga's stash on Nar Shaddaa. Vash's corpse on Korriban. Dead Salvagers Will and completing the main quest on Dantooine. Mandalore and the Canoks in the jungle on Dxun. There are a few more possible locations too. Once you acquire all 3 parts, these locations will start giving you full lightsabers instead of parts.
I triggered the Leviathan/Visas cutscene during the event where the Ithorians on Citdel Station are being attacked. I was exploiting the infinite Darkside bug where you rescue the dude from the Vivarium. I wasn't fully at 0, but was close. My face had changed midsentence and then the cutscene started.
Way to go! I think helping the Ithorians is the soonest I have triggered the Visa cutscene except I was going lightside. Don't think I have triggered her cutscene on Telos going darkside yet. Having the face sith out half way through a cutscene is hilarious. I was able to do it with Desciple in my darkside Jedi companions video. I like watching it happen instantly cuz you don't always realize it when it slowly changes.
Cutscenes and doing all the side quests and checking all the rooms that sounds about right. Blasting through the beginning as quick as I could with getting most containers took me about 4 hours to get to Jedi Academy on Telos with passing on all other side quests too.
Go to Nar Shadda, run in and out and defeat Visis for the second part. Have Handmaiden dance for Vogga the Hutt, put the Kath hounds to sleep get third part. Have Bao-Dur make your saber, have Visis dupe what you want to start Exile and her with. Then go to Dantoonie to get Crystals. Either do Dantoonie with powered sabers or go back to Nar Shadda. Or whatever you prefer.
Nar Shaddaa is way more efficient for your parts! Always took the other planets first. Finally went Nar Shaddaa and was blown away by what I could do. I made another lightsaber guide with Nar Shaddaa as the first planet and am working on a Jedi conversion guide right now 👍🏼
@@middle-earthstudios9544 Sorry for the late reply. If you hop over to my channel and check out the Kotor 2 videos you should see it. It's the Kotor 2 Lightsaber Part Guide that is after this one.
With Jorran, you can also lie and say you haven't killed all of them and he'll run off and get killed, and you can still get the lightsaber parts and get dark side points.
Managed to build a lightsaber by going to dxun first and I got the first piece from czerka on telos, the second I got from a random animal I killed and the last piece I got from madalore so it was pretty fast. Although the only crystal I had was green at the time :(
What about the narshadda lootra technique? So fast. Go to lootra in the flop house at the docks and just kill him (awards ds points but you get the saber part immediately) then go back to the ebon hawk for visas and it will give you enough for the saber. Then you can go back and do the Hutt robbery and get another saber straight away. Can also turn both Atton and bao to Jedi on this planet. Go into the planet with nothing leave with two sabers and 4 Jedi companions depending what rout you take you can leave with Mira aswell and turn her within minutes on the ebon hawk. (Not counting kreia)
I actually made another video covering that exact route and strategy! That's the way I do it every time. Nar Shaddaa as your first planet is for everyone though.
The first time I killed that Padawan, but second time I didn't kill her, but instead I was able to talk to her and send her down the path to the dark side.
I hate that lol, they are so dinky! I usually use the reload technique. Save right before you get it and reload and try again if you get a short saber. I don't mind getting one or two but super annoying when they had a full size one and they drop a short XD
@@CatDaddyGaming It is better than nothing but getting Normal or Double is great especially than I converted almost everyone and need Sabers from what I understand Short Lightsaber does not give Two weapon penalty than used with other weapons
Which mod?? This method will be the way to get it in vanilla version and modded version. Only way it would be different is if the mod straight up added lightsaber into your inventory.
If you go Korriban first without triggering Visa, you may have to leave before you get your saber if you skip the Sith Cave. I do enjoy being able to go anywhere first and still get your lightsaber. Fastest is definitely Nar Shadaa if you blow through the side missions you have to do!
Mandalore hands you a part, yes ofc! but you have to do a couple of quests . buying the parts from Jorran on Dantooine is much faster. Nar Shadda??? I don't want the mad Wookie to join my party!
Yes they are avoidable. You can do the whole planet doing lightsided actions. You can only get the lightsaber from the dead salvagers though but lying on the will. So you have to get darkside points if you change the will, other than that you can avoid all darkside points by helping out the settlers.
My path is after telos (and by the way dark or light side points is the way to trigger that scene with Visas) land on Korriban. Re-enter the ship. Beat her. Then travel to nar shaddaa. Go to the docks apartments and find Lootra(sp?) The guy looking to find his wife in the refugee sector. Kill him ( you'll eat some dark side points in the restored content mod but not in vanilla) Bam! All done.
It is one of the images on the Steam store for the game. There are some really great fans art renditions of this fight I have seen too. I like the droids faintly in the corner.
Korriban was how I used to do it. Now I go to Nar Shaddaa first. You can raid Voggas Stash and Kill Lootra within 10 minutes and you have yourself all the parts. Usually come back when I'm stronger to wrap up the planet.
I have never gone to Onderon first, I will have to try it on my next play through. Seems like it would be a good choice though cuz there is a ton on XP on that planet! Do you get your last lightsaber piece from finishing the main quest?
what mods should be installed for better performance? i have the game crushing on cinematics and other minor glitches despite installing the resto project mod
That would be my first suggestion. The restored content mod. Has some fixes in there, but not sure if other mods will increase performance. I would assume less mods would equal better performance lol. One thing that kept crashing me was was the FPS, I have a 1440p 144hz monitor and I tried setting the game to 144 FPS. Kept crashing and glitching after loading. Did some forum research and found the game doesn't like newer specs. It runs best at or below 1080p and 60FPS. First time ever my hardware was too powerful for a game XD
I waited until after rescuing the Jedi from the cave and was not able to claim the will because there was no option. I had to go back on a save and claim the will BEFORE saving the Jedi to be able to claim it.
I'm finally playing with TSLRCM for my most recent playthrough but I had a weird thing happen with making the lightsaber. I got the part from Chodo Habat, then when I have access to the planets I go to Dantooine like I usually do. I get the part from the salvager in the Enclave sublevel and then I go back to fight Visas for the last part. I should have all 3 but my quest log and Bao-Dur still says I need a focusing lens. I also haven't gotten the Jedi Padawan to appear in the sublevel either. Now I'm worrying my game is bugging out even though the rest of TSLRCM seems to be working just fine.
Alright so Jarron used to give you a lightsaber part. In the vanilla version of the game he has the part. In TSLRCM, the Jedi padawan has the part that Jarron gives you. When you first enter the Enclave you can go right or left to make your way around. But to find the the padawan you need to head straight around the circle thing and in those little rooms. After you defeat the monster things, the padawan will appear
@@mattboy5296 Yeah one of the small things they changed. Easy to miss I'd you don't kill those Laigreks. Them dying triggers her to show up. Happy to help!
@@CatDaddyGaming Just wanted to say that I killed all the laigreks in the sublevel and that made the Padawan appear and got my lightsaber part. I thought you just had to kill some of them but apparently it's all of them. Anyway, I'm just glad to he able to finish building my lightsaber. Thanks again for the help :)
Nice!! Consular is my favorite! I would pass on gettin the Qixoni Crystal if you plan on staying Lightside. I believe the crystal only benefits you in your alignment is on the Darkside. Check out the other videos on my channel. There is one called Lightsaber Upgrade Guide and I go over a ton of crystals that you should keep an eye out for in your playthrough!
No problem! Happy to help if I can! That's the best way to play in my opinion. So much replayability with the various choices you can make. You will definitley have to play through multiple times if you want to experience everything. Dedicating one playthrough to Darkside and having HK47 with you the whole time is hilarious. His little quips and one liners are very well written!
I would if I could. This version of TSLRCM was made specifically for mobile. Most mod creators haven't made their mods compatible with mobile yet. I'm confident it will certainly happen but as of now adding PC mods to you mobile game doesn't always work out.
How do you equip a lightsaber to your teammates it keeps saying weapon proficiency lightsaber but I can’t find that on Atton or handmaiden it’s getting really annoying cause I already have like 5 lightsabers
I know I'm way late but did you try going to Dxun first? I was able to craft my lightsaber without fighting Visas. Also after beating her I gained a short red lightsaber, possibly a by product from "destroying" her own lightsaber during the battle. Personally I always did Dxun first than the rest (usually random picks) but I always gain at least two lightsabers after Dxun. Don't know if it works for everyone but it always worked for me and personally, I'm curious to see what all you guys do. I also enjoyed the video btw.
I am glad to hear you enjoyed the video. Dxun first is a solid choice but not sure if I remember the last time I went Dxun first. I will give it a try. I usually go Nar Shaddaa first cuz you can get 2 pieces real quick and also get a few companions converted. I made another video going over going to Nar Shaddaa first for the parts. Doing a Blaster Build run right now but maybe I will try going Dxun first again since I usually don't.
@@CatDaddyGaming To be honest, I always hated Nar Shaddaa. Never tried going there first though. I'm about to start up a new run thru so I'll try Nar Shaddaa first and see how it goes. Oh and to answer you're question in this video about the Visas and Darth Nihlus scene (not sure if I spelled that correctly) I do believe it is caused by your force alignment, saw something about it in a KOTOR II chat forum on Reddit and noticed on each play thru I did. That and if you reach a certain level if you're doing a grey jedi play thru but I can't remember what level it is.
@@CatDaddyGaming I also read something about no matter which planet you go to there are certain quests on each mission that will grant you a lightsaber piece, like on Dxun gutting the Canocks will give you a piece and I think the other is when you detonate the charges for Mandalore but it might be randomly generated so don't take my word for it.
@@bartsimpson6872 You are certainly correct on that. I made a video that goes over everyone of those locations. It's called Kotor 2 Lightsaber Locations Guide. I did leave out 1 location but it is mentioned in the pinned comment.
Demolitions! I know you need demolitions at a skill of at least 1 to disable them. You will need a few more points in the skill to recover them, not sure exactly how many. Bao-Dur has Demolitons high enough to recover mines so I just make that his job once he enters the party!
@@pedropuff1304 If you start as the Guardian class you get Demolitions as a class skill so it only takes 1 skill point to level up instead of 2. You can still get Demolitions leveled without being Guardian, just will take longer. If you put your first few levels worth of skill points into Demolitions, you could for sure disable mines on Peragus. They could also have on a nice set of wearables that increase their Demolitions enough to disable.
That is definitely something I want to do in the future. The only problem is I have hundreds of more hours in Kotor 2 than I do the first one. So I would want to play through it again a time or 2 to refresh my memory. I certainly plan to do so, just don't think it will be super soon.
I found out recently that you can turn that girl to the dark side and make here believe there is no hope for the jedi, to me it seemed like a depressing conversation.

@dandremills2735 Ah gotcha. Her spawning is depending your your alignment points. So in your case, since you are going sith, get as many Darkside points as you can. Save often and in many slots. If you accidentally get a lightside gain, reload to your save and do it again. Once you get a bunch in a row, she'll appear. Lucky for you, there are 2 Saber spawn points on Nar Shadda. One at Voggas Warehouse, and one from a dude in the dock area. I have a video on my channel of all the Saber spawn points if you need some direction.

Having the face sith out half way through a cutscene is hilarious. I was able to do it with Desciple in my darkside Jedi companions video. I like watching it happen instantly cuz you don't always realize it when it slowly changes.
For some reason it takes me 10 hours to get to the surface of Telos haha(Probably, because of the cutscenes.)
Cutscenes and doing all the side quests and checking all the rooms that sounds about right. Blasting through the beginning as quick as I could with getting most containers took me about 4 hours to get to Jedi Academy on Telos with passing on all other side quests too.
CatDaddy Gaming I just finished Telos making my way towards getting Jedi companions haha
“Darth Needs Moisturizer” lol!!
yes, Visas sees you through the force, and then comes looking for you.
with Jorrans part its the how i do it. just beware of the kinrath matriach.
I got my last two parts on bar shadda before even going to either those two planets
Nar Shaddaa is way more efficient for your parts! Always took the other planets first. Finally went Nar Shaddaa and was blown away by what I could do. I made another lightsaber guide with Nar Shaddaa as the first planet and am working on a Jedi conversion guide right now 👍🏼
CatDaddy Gaming what video is that? Because I’m going Nar Shaddaa first and want to know how to get the lightsaber parts there first. Thanks
Gonna go open an Old Republic themed pub and call it Bar Shaddaa
@@middle-earthstudios9544 Sorry for the late reply. If you hop over to my channel and check out the Kotor 2 videos you should see it. It's the Kotor 2 Lightsaber Part Guide that is after this one.
@@krieghart5515 Best idea ever!! I would 100% go to your bar no matter where you opened it!
Telos - Telos - Korriban this gives you fast lightsaber and prestige class right after temple, but before cave
great video thanks
Man I was getting short Lightsaber like crazy I had 3 of them and it was annoying I wanted Normal Lightsaber But no at least Jedi Masters had it
I hate that lol, they are so dinky!
For some reason. I got a full lightsaber from chodo and I felt like I cheated somehow. Only had visual mods and the restored content + droid planet.
You got a lucky bug lol! I would love to get a lightsaber that early without doing the cheats!
Can you find these sabers without the mod or do you need to use it? to find them?
Which mod?? This method will be the way to get it in vanilla version and modded version. Only way it would be different is if the mod straight up added lightsaber into your inventory.
ive always had a light saber by end of first optional planet. regardless of choices
Im confused. Are Dark Side points avoidable on Dantooine or no?
Yes they are avoidable. You can do the whole planet doing lightsided actions. You can only get the lightsaber from the dead salvagers though but lying on the will. So you have to get darkside points if you change the will, other than that you can avoid all darkside points by helping out the settlers.
My path is after telos (and by the way dark or light side points is the way to trigger that scene with Visas) land on Korriban. Re-enter the ship. Beat her. Then travel to nar shaddaa. Go to the docks apartments and find Lootra(sp?) The guy looking to find his wife in the refugee sector. Kill him ( you'll eat some dark side points in the restored content mod but not in vanilla)
Bam! All done.
You should do a video over cool aesthetic mods for TSL
That is a good idea! I have a video that goes over some mods for the Steam version. It has some of the better retextures I have come across
That picture of Atris in your thumbnail, where is it from? Never seen that one before.
It is one of the images on the Steam store for the game. There are some really great fans art renditions of this fight I have seen too. I like the droids faintly in the corner.
@@CatDaddyGaming Thanks a lot. And yeah, I've seen some really great KOTOR fan art as well. There are many talented people out there.
Most fast build lightsaber in only Korriban actually, if you fight with Revan
Korriban was how I used to do it. Now I go to Nar Shaddaa first. You can raid Voggas Stash and Kill Lootra within 10 minutes and you have yourself all the parts. Usually come back when I'm stronger to wrap up the planet.
I always go Onderon -> Dantooine --> Nar Shaadaa --> Korriban
I have never gone to Onderon first, I will have to try it on my next play through. Seems like it would be a good choice though cuz there is a ton on XP on that planet! Do you get your last lightsaber piece from finishing the main quest?
Before going to iziz first time yes
@@petarvukadin1789 Yessir, I do, here is a link to it. Nothing too fancy but gets you straight to me if you have any questions! discord.gg/GBrfgQj
Do I just need the right workbench to make a lightsaber?
You need the 3 parts. After you get the 3 parts you don't even need the workbench. Bao Dur will craft it for you.
NICE
what mods should be installed for better performance?
i have the game crushing on cinematics and other minor glitches despite installing the resto project mod
Multiple saves are the best thing you can do for yourself. They have helped me out of many holes I have put myself into lol
@@CatDaddyGaming Oh he doesn't give it anymore. And I guess I was in the wrong spot looking for the Padawan. Now I can check that out, thanks.
Very glad to hear! Happy to help! :)
I am playing this for the first time, LightSide Consular.
Q: Should I take the Qixoni from Sakarie, or should I keep the credits?
@@CatDaddyGaming Thanks for your quick answer. I'll check your videos after I'll complete my first play, to verfy how bad were my first judgements.
That's a ds crystal
I agree I played games multiple times different combinations on the class all fun my favorite is the consular/sith lord
Any chance you could do a video on how to add M4-78 to the Android version
I would if I could. This version of TSLRCM was made specifically for mobile. Most mod creators haven't made their mods compatible with mobile yet. I'm confident it will certainly happen but as of now adding PC mods to you mobile game doesn't always work out.
@@CatDaddyGaming yeah ive been hoping a few mods wouldve made their way to mobile by now
You can find a Crystal, orange, on korriban
How do you equip a lightsaber to your teammates it keeps saying weapon proficiency lightsaber but I can’t find that on Atton or handmaiden it’s getting really annoying cause I already have like 5 lightsabers
Have you converted them to Jedi yet? They won't be able to wield lightsabers until you have converted them to the ways of the Jedi.
What's the ability to recover mines? I Couldn't get them, only explode them.
Demolitions! I know you need demolitions at a skill of at least 1 to disable them. You will need a few more points in the skill to recover them, not sure exactly how many. Bao-Dur has Demolitons high enough to recover mines so I just make that his job once he enters the party!
@@CatDaddyGaming but why do I see some videos of players getting mines in the begginning (Peragus). I thought I was missing something.
Can you cover kotor 1 guide and glitches
That is definitely something I want to do in the future. The only problem is I have hundreds of more hours in Kotor 2 than I do the first one. So I would want to play through it again a time or 2 to refresh my memory. I certainly plan to do so, just don't think it will be super soon.
I found out recently that you can turn that girl to the dark side and make here believe there is no hope for the jedi, to me it seemed like a depressing conversation.
Sometimes you are in the mood to make you companions feel depressed and left with no hope lol I usually like to be the beacon of hope super good guy, but there is satisfaction in being the very evil guy once in a while lol
@@CatDaddyGaming I'm the same way, I have only done two completely evil playthroughs but several light side or gray jedi playthroughs. Have you got to experience the jedi temple on Corasaunt( sorry for my bad spelling) it's a mod in the steam workshop.
@@deliverancegaming6652 I have experienced it but I will admit I didn't explore every nook and cranny like I normally do. It was causing issues for me when I was trying to do the HK Factory mission so I removed it, which bugged my game since I removed it half way through the playthrough. I am currently playing a fan made add on, The Jedi Masters, after I complete that I plan to go through it again and fully explore the Coruscant Temple.
@@CatDaddyGaming I had similar issues with it, but after I went to that Jedi temple and then went to another planet, I uninstalled the mod and was able to access the HK factory at the end of the game, after HK gets enough info about the HK 50's it will automatically spawn you in the factory towards the end of the game.
How the hell do you turn in the will? I can’t figure it out
You have to find the 2 bodies in the Enclave and then you can hand them over to Zherron. Make sure you don't give the body to the salvagers
I disagree about you need to free the jadi on dantooine to get lightsaber part for turning in will quest i turn it in before i see him and still get part for lighttsaber part
Interesting. Maybe you just need the holopad from the Jedi enclave. Zherron is never in the main building unless you free Vrook from the cage. Then he shows up there with Vrook. At least that's how it's been for me in my most recent playthroughs
What i Do is find all the body then i turn in quest at same time i always get that cutscane with visas before i leave telo dark or light when i land i go back on ship to beat her for a part
@@CatDaddyGaming his at the spot where you get the quest to kill the creatures in the cave forget their name

How do i make her spawn. I have two out of three
@dandremills2735 Who? You mean the 3rd saber part?
@CatDaddyGaming the women that invades your ship I guess. It's my first playthrough. I already went to korriban cause I'm role playing as a sith but I'm at nar shaddar I have two parts out of three and they video said she'll spawn on your ship or get a cutscene haven't gotten it yet
Though I'd advise you not spoil your first playthrough. Just go to the docks and be a rude killing sith dude and you'll find your last part.
@CatDaddyGaming right as I hopped on today, I walked thru one door way and got the cutscene. Thanks
0_o? but nar shade? as Male exile you get most of your party members except mando/ Canderus. can get them all jedi and the rest of the game you can just plow though and get them their sabers. unless you use the dublication glitch. in which cas after the first planet @_@ u have an entire squad of light saber wilding Jedi.
