    Lol, saying they dislike being touched while showing a degu really enjoying a chin stroke. Good Job!

    We just got a baby one. Their very talkative little things. A lot of squeakin, but it sounds like R2D2 so it's kind of cool.

    Someone pls help. I gotta give my degu eyedrops and she just keeps jumping and running away. I know its not pleasant for her but it has to be done, is there a way i could hold her for the drops in a way she wont escape, but wont hurt her?

    • @petopedia_
      @petopedia_  11 месяцев назад

      Wrap her in a soft cloth, with only the head sticking out, and slowly give the eyedrops!

    Nice and helpful video 🙂 but that wheel is ABSOLUTELY unsuitable for degus, and dangerous for most rodents ⚠

    ive been looking everywhere but cant find this information, how much do i give pellets to 2 degus?

    • @petopedia_
      @petopedia_  Год назад

      Most adult degus eat 10 grams of pellets once a day, although you can divide this into 5 grams of pellets twice a day. It means, for 2 degus, you have to give 10 grams pallets each time of the day. And for two times, you need 20 grams food daily!
      Note: The amount depends on the size of your degu.

      All rodents can bite when stressed or scared. Just be careful with handling and read their body language
