Raft Gameplay Information:
Survive the harsh life of being stuck on a raft in the middle of the ocean! Gather debris from the water in order to craft equipment necessary for your survival. Expand your raft in order to create a more comfortable living for yourself, but be wary of the dangers of the ocean!

Raft Gameplay Features Q&A:
• Q: How do I rotate the walls/Windows?
A: You press 'R' on your keyboard
Q: I am stuck at the loading screen, what do I do?
A: Try pressing escape, then go back to the main menu. Load up the save file you just created. This should solve the problem
Q: Will saved games work between different versions of the game?
A: They may work but there is no guarantee. Try and load the save and if it crashes it may not work in the new version of Raft. If you want to continue playing on your saved game you will have to continue on the same Raft version as the game was saved on for now.
Q: When will there be an update and what will it contain?
A: We were not expecting so many happy players, so at this point we do not have a regular patching schedule.
Q: How do I start the game?
A: You first need to extract the files from the compressed folder. Then you start the game using the .exe file. Make sure the _Data folder is in the same location as the .exe
Q: Will there be multiplayer?
A: Since multiplayer is super difficult for a small team like our's, we do not have any current plans for it.

i got to love that the game hand has alot of expression.. puts down item, thumbs up!
Make your raft wider to the left, there's still quite a lot of stuff passing by. Make one row of foundation around the whole raft and just walk around from time to time to check if shark didn't destroyed something. To collect everything from the nets just go along these two planks facing down and spam "E". Plant more trees, they give you wood, tatch and food.
To me this feels like a real life WaterWorld video game. Most frikkin awesome.
It seems that, for now, you don't have much use to iron (scrap) in the game. Maybe in the future they'll add a feature to reinforce the platforms with it, hopefully. I came a bit late to watch this let's play, so i'm sure you wont see this comment, but i wanted to say that i'm liking it! Please keep up
Tree farms are the way to go in this game. Get about 10 trees minimum and you're set. Coconuts are the best food imo.

Kage. TIP: if you build walls on your foundations the shark wont attack them. but do leave a few without wall to get the shark meat. and you may wanna have 2 chest. 1 for resources and 1 for food/drinks.

Kage build more nets in the left hand side and the pillars only supports 1 on each side so 9 floors for 1 pillar
ya there are only so many "lanes" that things float down in so why not put a net in all the trash lanes

It's just too easy to punk the shark, either by swimming in the water and then jumping back onto the raft and stabbing at it a couple times or just doing the backstroke while stabbing. You should try it! There's no way you could die!
what I did was a very long net line, and a much smaller raft square behind it for building, you don't need a fully squared raft :) it can be like, a land-mower or something larger on the front to gather. In my game, I think I reach the width limit of debris. nothing goes outside my net range anymore.(100% caught basically).

Just found the game. this is day 2 of playing. Like the game I do agree with what you have been saying about improvements. One I would like to add is have water and food last longer. I never drank so much water in my life. I hope that they dont give up after school on the game.
This game would be soo good if you could have servers and play multiplayer
That Guy It is still in development so who knows, they may add that and may even take it even further to consoles and such if they have the money to

awesome video buddy and I like it alot, seems like a very cool game for sure. i think u can put walls on the perimeter and it will protect the raft affiliated to it and the shark won't attack it. keep up the great work bud :)
I've been playing for a few days now and I find its best to have the raft 16 wide. 7 to each side of the starting 4. Nets on all of them catches more than i can use. Build 6 deep and place all your chests and such at least 1 block in so the shark cant get it.

metal raft parts would be good, but it needs wood near by. This game reminds me of skyblock from minecraft

first off, this game reminds me of the movie woter world. secondly, i don't know about you, but i like the idea of ladders a lot better than i do of stairs. sticks with the theme of the survival situation better that way.

It's a good game but as far as making videos goes your going to run out of content real quick.
Played around 3 hours yesterday and ran out of things to do, really hoping the devs make a go of it so we get more content.
