Bar-ends are great on these bikes. I started with mine pointed down but couldn't see well so just reversed them and now they work well.

I need to get a luggage rack before I try the MABDR. Couple hours and my backpack gets annoying. I’m hoping to get the opportunity to get down to the NJ pine barrens soon and try some of more packed roads down there.
