I feel less confident with them fixing the game once he said the engine wasn’t made for a fps.
It was made for mmo games, which I why I think this game is gonna be badass when they bring those assassins creed factions to the game and bring features that will probably be unheard of in normal fps games💯😏
game engines get repurposed all the time, it just takes a little refinement. This isn't a game that is a yearly release, they are actively developing it all the time.
You can thank ubisoft for that their the ones who decide what game engine gets used and obviously didn't want to spend money on an actual game engine that was made for FPS games.

I’d like to hear Mark Rubin explain why they’re using an MMO engine when Ubisoft has AnvilNext 2.0 engine (R6Seige) that was specifically made to enhance graphics and physics for a FPS game. That decision makes no sense. Why didn’t they use that or why were they not allowed to use it?
Maybe a money thing... it all comes when the people actually put their work in and want to get payed... maybe those are cheaper... it has to do with money i bet

It all goes back to this games origin. This game was originally supposed to be a spin off of The Division, hence the engine. I dont know whos call it was to use it but they made the wrong one. I was thinking the exact same thing at one point, they should have used the siege or even Farcry engine
Well, who owns those engines? Serious question. Because that may be the issue. They'll have to pay for other engines. Also, this engine may be an MMO engine but tweaking your engine is a thing too.
So many games have started out on other engines not meant for their genre

I get maybe 2 games in on PC before its start struggle bussing this game connection is straight pookie dook, but rather play this over CoD any day.
When a dev says the platform was made for a mmo not a shooter game its a wrap. I wrote weeks before the issues with this game got alot of shit for it and now here comes the videos by RUclipsrs lol love it

Cheaters aren't going anywhere sadly like he said. They have hardware ban spoofers and ip address ban spoofers. The game is free to play, so they can keep making accounts. I just hope they do an active anti-cheats that detect cheats in real time banning them instantly. I have low faith in Ubisoft though
Telling players to move on after they have invested IN GOOD FAITH is disrespectful. That will move me off the game faster than any issues from a game engine that should NOT have been used in the first place. They needed to migrate to it from something else over time. Excellent video, Red and Raw! lol!!! That could be a title for something...
new players will be getting shot around corners and the ghost bullets and all the other bugs and leave , the new players that stick around will start looking the game up for load out vids etc and see the issues have been in the game for a year and are still not fixed and leave.
im seeing the same names starting crop up in my lobbies which means one of two things , theres either some sbmm going on (and rubin is adamant that there isnt) or the player base is dropping off and being as other toobers are saying that twitch streams for xd are getting lower numbers and are dropping down the list of most watched twitch streams so that tells you a lot.
I love the game but that "not rushed" tweet is silly. It's been funny watching some youtubers praise Ruben for 'owning the trolls'.

I have a friend who works for Hollywood, and I know that games and movies are different but there are times when they are similar in some ways, there are certain contracts signed that prevent people from telling the truth about certain things, So it could be possible that as truthful as they are trying to be they still work for a billion dollar company and may not be allowed to say certain things as it could and probably will result in termination of their positions.
Cheaters in games is why I play console now. I know there's cheaters on console but a lot less

@@xxPhoenixX-sg9tr Is free to play but, if you watch to use what you unlock, you gave to pay for the Battlepass. And on top of that, pay for the new faction. And that will happen every new season. And you'll say "CoD do the same thing with their Battlepass, and you have to pay $70+ dollars", and is true but, CoD comes with the campaing mode, which people like me play before jump to the multiplayer mode.

Battlefield was doing in game countdowns for xp tokens over a decade ago and COD still won't change because people just accept it.

There's not a single PvP game that is safe from cheaters. We're livign in the worst era of gaming
Believe me, you dont want the R6 engine. It was an old assassins creed engine, and R6 is in year 9. Every single update in R6 breaks something new, or a game breaking exploite comes back.
I played every day of preseason literally at least a couple matches every day. Haven’t touched it in close to a week. Not until they fix it, balance weapons and all the bs

The cheaters that get banned have multiple accounts, most of the rage cheaters are testing the game in the same way Xdefiant's cheat detection bans them, soon cheaters will have a better cheat and will end up like all the other FREE to PLAY games...Sad but true.
As for the PS5, i have it and i have not played it for a week now as its not good(been playing on PC and have just as bad issues), sound is off, hit detection is way off, crouch spammers, bunny hoppers, still constantly getting slaughtered trying to have fun.....NOT my kind of fun at all.

I have had connection and sevver issues since the game released i have reported it shared clips of what happens they never fixed it and its been a while

Mark Ruben reminds me of Tommy boys infamous line “we know all we sold you was a guaranteed piece of shit”. In this situation marks thinking “we know all we gave you was a transparent piece of shit”. The game is absolutely unplayable after season one’s garbage.
I agree with you man the more honest you are the more people will stick around even if there's problems with the game if you're honest about everything people will deal with the problems and give you the time to fix it and if you're not honest people will leave and never come back That's just my thought

Pretty much, if you don't like it move on. We need the micro transactions. They allow the cheater base, just like call of duty, because if they didn't the player count would suffer. All about the store at this point. They don't care about the player experience, it's pretty obvious.

Ive played like 500 casual matches and never once played a cheater. People assume just because someone has a lot of kills they must be cheating. Reality is almost nobody is cheating in this game especially not in casual. If you play ranked theres a chance youll play a mnk player blatantly cheating with wallhack and aimlock headshots but even that is fairly rare I've only seen it once and Im in the top 1% of ranked players.
9/10 people who like to preach this is usually cheating.
