“MAR: Marchen Awakens Romance” Now that’s one I haven’t seen in a long time. The very first concept of isekai I was ever introduced to. It was long before the genre was trending. Can’t find this show on any steaming platform for some reason. It’s a shame, because is pretty good.
You can buy the DVD box set on eBay. I bought it awhile back and have not watched it in years. Now seeing this, makes me want to watch it again. I just wish I didn't trade my manga set in as what I like about the book series is that it is all original. With the anime they changed a lot of stuff, added fillers and added characters that didn't exist. Both Phantom, Diana and the dark Babbo were the enemies but towards the end they added a completely different enemy that didn't exist in the manga series. This scene actually made me cry and still does. I loved the music throughout the anime and I will need to take some time in the New Year to rewatch this. Since it wasn’t in their system anymore, the staff can either take it home with them or they have to trash it. My sis knew I liked this series and brought it home for me. Lol
Actually, the first was jolly old England's Chronicles of Narnia. But yeah, this was one of the first Isekai anime. Back when MC's were people out to do the right thing, as opposed to modern MC's who are after power highs and getting laid.

So one episode would look incredibly off model then the next might be passable and one would look like a fluid and high quality masterpiece. Dbz, Yu yu hakusho, Naruto, Outlaw Star, etc did this a lot.
