There is a part of Europe that still remembers very well what war with Islamic Empire means, entire Balkans, Central and Eastern Europe is still recovering from the Ottoman Empire, destruction of culture, loss of population due to numerous conflicts and the abduction of children and women. It's a cultural attribute no different from kebab itself, nothing religious. Just like bacon with BBQ sauce isn't homophobic or conservative Christian. Anyway, while I was a Muslim (2016-22), I and my friends at the time never thought of Muhammad as a pedophile (most of them had kids themselves). Nor did we engage in any terrorism or anti-semitism. Alot of new people in my city. Some aren't afraid to walk by a young girls soccer game and watch it with no apparant friends or family members attending it. It's only a matter of time until something happens. This summer, the news spoke about a 12 year old girl being assaulted by a man. Held at knife point. Our city never had these sorts of problems. The police never caught the man. Years ago, the people would have had an uproar if this story went away without any word on it or a description of the man. Guess what. It did. Now it's "the man was wearing a black mask, and couldn't be identified." I really hope they aren't lying for the respect of that girl. I understand, their afraid of smoke getting close to the hornets nest. They want there own private fire. This happened in an alleyway downtown. Surrounded by cameras and businesses. It was the evening, but you cannot go anywhere downtown without a camera catching you coming in or out. Normally if a predator of sorts was in the community, people would know. No mention however. No, instead the mayor and his cronies seem to want to just sweep it under the rug so he can keep pushing the "agenda" while he keeps eating the other pollys seasoned nuts. I really wouldn't doubt that some of these sports fans are being watched a bit to and have some added electronics on their vehicles now. The police have proven to be useless. 12 year old girl is harmed, can't catch the guy, meanwhile they got the check stops going on, and having professionals go under semis to inspect them for any infraction so they can fine them, because the owner has been vocal about the cities bs. That is an insult to that child.

The Koran is not complied chronologically. Surah 9 is the last chapter Mohammad wrote and very violent. My understanding is he became more of a warlord as he aged.

I went back up to Minnesota to visit my mom last summer. It's like a completely different country now. It's definitely not the same it was 30 years ago. The Leftist and Islam has ruined Minneapolis and St Paul. Not to mention all the nonsensical laws in Minnesota. I have lived in greater Cincinnati area for last 35 years. Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee are not putting up with this nonsense for the most part. Ohio is kind of in-between but still has conservative and moderates as a majority but it's not an overwhelming majority. Thanks, Bjorn, for your input on this topic.

Not to get off topic, but I have a question (I posted it on one of your old Livestreams but you might not have seen it) if you could indulge me Bjorn: I have been going through a bunch of your old Heathen Hangout videos from this channel and rewatching them these past couple of weeks, and it occurred to me that you haven't made a Heathen Hangout video for some time. In fact I think the last one you made was from back in November of last year, and I was wondering what the reason was behind that, ? Did you finally get fed up with the bible-thumpers trying to hijack the comments section all of the time? Or did you continue to do them as members only videos? Either way I hope they come back, I always enjoyed them!
My problem with Islam is the lack of respect for other cultures. When I was in high school my father took a job with Aramco and we moved to Saudi Arabia. While there we respected their culture because we were in their country. But when Islamists go to other countries there is a total lack of respect for the culture of the host country. They make no attempt to assimilate and are hell bent on making other cultures change to meet their needs.
No to EU, no to Schengen. And most important, no to illegal immigration. If anybody who reads this is, and lives in a Norwegian city, you already know that our language and culture is disappearing dangerously quick. Even in my own neighborhood i can rarely hear my own language, its either its english, slavic, arabic or whatever really. I would never have imagined that this was the future of my home country.. Our identity is being erased and replaced, and its becoming more clear by each day passing...

I heard once "I was judging myself by my intentions while the rest of the world was judging me by my actions". That applies very well to Islam.
When I lived in an Islamic country ( they called themselves secular parallel, because they did have a secular court. Egypt) it was overwhelmingly Islamic. The difference that struck me from Christian countries is the concept of Grace. Islam is without the concept of Grace and that makes it a more severe culture. It makes a huge difference.

I often think about religion and wonder to myself why people fear upsetting or offending religious people. Why not the other way around? Do you think religious people care about non religious people's views? I'd be interested to know what the numbers are in terms of how many younger people follow a religion. I dont think its religion thats bad but the way humans twist it to fit their own evil agendas. Someone when I was young gave me an interesting book written by a group that studies world religions and what is taught today is not the same as years ago, but history has its unpleasant situations for as long as its been in existance. One of my siblings once commented that for Gods grace and huge following globally, why is it, most of the wars and hardships of human beings always is due to religious beliefs and the segregation of which one is superior? Thank you for expressing it in your own opinion as we should not fear how we feel and if your religion is harming innocent people or interferring in individual freedoms maybe you should question that religion rather then blindly follow it.

I had a girlfriend whose church really studied the bible. They were reading every word and going back to the earliest or root language the words that were written. It was interesting sometimes when a word they studied might have had a bit of a different meaning at the time.
Sometimes I have read articles about really horrible things, that can happen to women and minorities in islamic state-dominated countries. Latest was about genocide happenings in Sudan, for example, and I am so sorry for the people, who must experience this! That is truly evil, and I don't know, how something like this can be justified in any country in the world. 😟
In general, Sharia law is not a proper law, but an antiquated extremist instrument! Those countries maybe shouldn't focus on segregating men from women, but seperating the law from religion. For example in Afghanistan there was the shah government in the 1960ies or 1970ies, that was more liberal (as far as I know), before the Taliban came. That shows, that this is possible also in islamic culture, and somehow I don't understand, why people cannot somehow take their freedom back.
Personally, I am always thankful for fate allowing me, to live in a western country in freedom.

Yea, I will never be religious, I can see how religion creates big problems, division and alot of chaos !!! However, I am very spiritual , I believe we are all spiritual beings here temporary in the physical dimensions for soul lessons and soul growth. When we die , we will reunite with our soul group and study even for our next incarnation ( hypnotherapist - dr Newton book " Destiny of souls".) People that have NDEs are never met by religious figures. My surname is Scandinavian originally " thorn" probably derived from Thor 😁 and we trace ours back to a Viking village in Greenock Scotland but I've never learnt much about pagan gods, too far back in my family as I've a mixture of Irish, Scottish, English, Scandinavian, french and Mediterranean prob Italian and I've some Spanish even. I live in Australia and was born here. I'm happy with my overall spiritual beliefs and would never want to join cults with manmade brutal rules.

Have you taken Indonesia into consideration? It's the largest muslim country in the world by far, and has a different culture than the middle eastern one. So maybe that can serve as an example of Islam functioning better?
