Omg I can't believe you find those mangas, I look for them for years on the Internet too. Awesome video like always.

In truth, I actually scanned these mangas myself specifically for this video. Many thanks!

Another amazing breakdown, much appreciated! :D
Fingers crossed for a full translation of Twillight of Desire at some point..
The inclusion of Musashi in the mangas has me hopeful for a Jubei appearance in the anime :D

Did you know Jūbei was only 40 when Akane was born? His granddaughter was born of a child

I believe young parents were quite common in feudal japan. Hell, her uncle, Munenori, was only 13 when Akane was born. Unfortunately, of Munetoshi's 5 sons, only Munenori and Muneaki's birth years are known, those being 1571 and 1566 respectively, so her father could be Muneaki, though it's impossible to know for certain.
I'm not certain why since there's nothing confirming this, but most people asume her father to be Toshikatsu, perhaps because he was Munetoshi's eldest son, but Toshikatsu also had a son named Toshiyoshi in 1579. The problem with that is that Akane mentions having a brother named Kyusaburo Yagyu, but after over a year and a half of searching, I've found absolutely no information on the existence of anyone under that name, so I don't think Toshikatsu is her father.

I'm still of a mind that Prime Samanosuke probably could kill Munenori all things considered; Sam did best Fortinbras and even killed his serpent form.
So Yodo was definitely talking some absurdity about no single Onimusha could have killed him.
Samanosuke would have put him to sleep if he was in his prime.
Jubei probably could have too given in his prime he did best Gogandantess.
And personally I don't think Munenori would have bested Gogandantess considering his shield, and the fact Munenori lacks Oni magic.
So I'll chalk this up to her gassing him up to make him seem more strong than he actually is.

I didn't even draw the parallel to Blade Warriors for Musashi, that's crazy.

Can you make a video going in depth on Fortinbras I always thought he was a cool demonic looking boss.

I already went about as in depth as I could get about Fortinbras in my Timeline, though a full character analysis some point in the future may not be a bad idea

Nice! There's one more called Twilight of Desire, but I don't think it was ever translated to English.
EDIT: Skipped over that part, my bad.
