I’m 20 years old listening to this everyday. this video was the first time I heard either I know you rider or China cat. Very grateful for these two musicians, I always am in a better headspace after listening. RIP David… and thank you for leaving us with a masterpiece of a cover.

You lads really nailed it. Such lovely relaxed phrasing, lots of space for expression, very complementary and well worked out - especially the clever bridging sections - but still totally natural. My hat's off to you both.
There's an extra verse of "I Know You Rider" that I picked up from a John Renbourn album back in the seventies. He does it as what seems to be a very technical fingerpicking piece in A but it's quite easy

Respectful of the Dead’s song China Cat but not beholden entirely to it and willing to do your own thing and take it different places. Truly great.
