Totally agree. I loved rumbelle from the beginning. But, one of the things I love about it is her standing up for herself when he continued toxic behavior. It is not a woman's job to fix a man!
@@stacicrawford1437 Belle in the beginning loved rumple and she believed in him, she wanted him to be good and to show her that he was true. Rumple being the dark one is a blessing and a curse! In the end they finally got back together. BUT IT TOOK WAY TOO LONG! Stupid writers.
I do love Rumbelle, I like the twist on the story, but I really do think they could have written Belle better. I suppose she could just be hardened after a lifetime with a man like Rumple, but where's the loving bookworm? She comes across as having a stick up her ass XD
Anyone else hoped that with Trainspotting two we would get a crossover....I would live to see the Trainspotting crew in storybrook. Yeah I know it would not work well but it is not like the last two season crossovers natch that well.
No he cut it for his movie! In a different reality he's an actor :)) (a fan of one of the Bobby's works - Stargate universe and the other one Stargate series - SG1 the first one :) ) Bobby looks great with a short hair ♥ But seriously without Bobby I wouldn't be a fan of Rumple. He makes his character. But I hope writers will end it on a good terms and it's not like with Phoebe (from Charmed) who has never made her own peace with Cole :)) lol yeah it's always like that.... I always love complicated and even toxic relationships (like this one/Phoebe/Cole or even those two from Gossip girl)..... except one .... but that one is not really ever happening.... cause it's writers are pretending now like it would never be that important..... Pokemon anime and it's shiping :))) lol I know you may think ("Is she watching an anime for children?.... yeah I'm but I'll probably be done with it very soon after the newest episode from Japan about Gr****ja sh*** reason for what happened there); the newest one from xyz series :)) Ash and Serena ehhhh :( :P I wanted to hate it at first but totally fell for it eventually).
I have never ever in my life /not/ liked Belle. B&B is my favorite Disney movie. This...this wicked evil hypocritical person standing in front of Rumple is not the Belle I fell in love with. Stupid writers can make a hero out of a woman abuser and a rapist, and give them their happy ending, but not the one who deserves it most. Rumplestiltskin. The one who truly is the biggest hero in that town. and they are throwing him under the bus. if they were not going to give Belle and Rumple a Happy ending like they do with the kidnappers(Charmings) and "redeemed" murderers, rapists and woman abusers(Regina, Hook) why the heck can't Rumple!?
lol she's just too goody for Rumple's complicated shoes.... that's why she's not That Belle :)) If it wasn't for Emilie that I really like her I wouln't be a fan of this relationship at all either.... seriously Robert is the best at playing an addicted person anyway :)) Quite excited for the second Trainspotting :))
CrazyGood88 Uhhh RumpleBumple is the biggest abuser of women there is. He killed Milah, enslaved Belle, tortured Anna, imprisoned Elsa, took Ella's baby from her.....
Im glad he stopped tiptoeing around her, she pretends she's this perfect person who only does good but she really isn’t, she's a hopeless hypocrite that everyone else has to go out of their way to save and then listen to her whining about the relationship she repeatedly chose to be in
I am loving this Belle. Finally she has stopped being this naïve (dumb) doormat for Rumple. Finally she says "Enough is enough!" and is doing what she needs to do for herself and the emotional health of her son. I also think this shows Rumple's true colors as well. Now that Belle's fantasies about "the man behind the beast" are gone and she's done being the complacent little wifey, out come the threats. I used to kind of like these two, but now I pray Belle gets as far away from this twisted man as possible.
It's not a threat, it's a simple statement of fact. She will be in danger and need powerful protection and given how many times he saved her already, he is not wrong. I don't see Emma & Regina (The only alternatives powerful enough) lining up to protect Belle (They usually forget she exists). I love Belle being assertive and standing up for herself and I don't think she was EVER a "dumb naive doormat". Now she just jumped from one extreme to another.
Persephone's Underworld It felt threatening, especially considering he just held her captive on the jolly roger. She doesn't want anything to do with him and for good reason. Whenever he gets involved, people get hurt or worse. And in this instance, it was actually his "protection" that put Belle in more danger. I know her behavior seems extreme to a lot of Rumple fans, but it doesn't to me. It seems like the behavior of someone who finally sees how toxic her relationship with her husband is and has had enough.
Cassandra765 Spare me the condescending tone, I am an abuse survivor myself. He didn't hold her captive, he was trying to protect her and went about it the wrong way (Hence the apology, he knows he did wrong). As for not wanting anything to do with him, love doesn't work like that. I appreciate the brutal honesty on BOTH sides actually. And given that he is the one whom people go to time and time again when they need solutions (Usually successful) and the fact that he sacrificed himself to save them all in Season 3, your statement is not accurate. I wouldn't call her behavior extreme, just stubborn, angry and this is a repeat of Skin Deep where they had a similar quarrel. I love them both and they were both ott here, I blame the writers tbh, Belle should never have been anywhere near that ship and Hook shouldn't have been inserted yet again where he doesn't belong. See this however you wish. Lying is far more toxic than brutal honesty like this. (Season 6 once again has CS lying to each other, 6.05 being the worst offender) Rumbelle at least isn't portrayed as oh so romantic when either or them or both are pulling a shitty move. Anyway, we'll see where this goes. If spoilers are anything to go by, things will get better. Oh and btw, as for not wanting him in her life....he is her child's Dad. He sent her away multiple times. Once even to be with Will. Now it's not just about her and her hero obsession anymore. Tough, they'll both deal with it. If the writers won't fuck up again.
Persephone's Underworld I wasn't being condescending. I was voicing my opinion. FYI, I've experienced abusive relationships in my life as well, so I'm not sure what your point is in bringing it up, but I will say this: Holding anyone anywhere against their will (Don't care what the reason is), IS holding someone captive. And it's what put her in danger since if she had been allowed to leave, she might've have been able to get away from Jekyll. And his apologies mean nothing at this point. She's heard them a million times before. "As for not wanting anything to do with him, love doesn't work like that." Not sure what you mean by this statement, but love does not permit anyone to harass you and disrespect your desire for space. That person clearly doesn't value you as an individual if they think this way. As for his grand sacrifice in S3, it's irrelevant because ultimately, he went back to evil. He ALWAYS goes back to evil, which negates those few nuggets of goodness. Rumbelle at least isn't portrayed as oh so romantic when either or them or both are pulling a shitty move" Actually a few times they've been portrayed even when he's busy lying and scheming behind her back. And his lies are usually far more nefarious than Hook or Emma's. But I agree that the writers need to knock it off with the lying and pushing each other away. It's exhausting. And yes, they have a child now. So it's time for Rumple to give up his addiction for otherwise he's at risk of repeating the mistakes he made with Bae.
Everybody in Storeybrooke seems to have forgotten that Rumple sacrificed himself to save Belle and Bae from Pan (and by virtue of doing so, saved them all). The chants of him not being able to change seem wrong when Season 3 was all about his redemption .... until the writers decided they needed a powerful villain again and had him revert back in Season 4. Rumple, in his own hamhanded way, tried to protect Belle by keeping her on the ship. It was stupid but I think Rumple doesn't really see things so clearly when it comes to her. And Belle...the fickle, fickle Belle. She had Rumple... the pure hearted hero in Season 5 and rejected him as soon as he proved himself a hero by defeating Hook with Excalibur. If you're Rumple, you're bound to be a tad confused by anything Belle does. LOL
i will be so glad if rumbelle ceases to be a thing. it's gross. she's also always being lied to and manipulated. he's always lying and manipulating. they're the fairy tale version of delena. very disappointing.
Hence the reason why I don't ship Rumbelle or Delena. Both relationships are toxic, because the good girl wants the bad boy to change and be more like her. The men in both ships just want to be accepted for who they, even if their intentions hurt others. The women just can't condone selfish actions, because innocents become collateral damage.
exactly! & i can see if we were supposed to see the women as secretly evil. hell i would've loved for ouat to explore what happens when two inherently bad people find true love. where two good people bring out the good in each other, would two bad people bring out the bad? i remember when belle was lacey & she was all for rumple beating people up. that could've been interesting. instead we get her chasing after him with all of the goodness of her self aimed at trying to change someone has never really wanted to change. belle deserves better. even selfish ass elena deserves better. ugh.
100% Agreed. I hate seeing disgusting relationships like Delena and Rumbelle being promoted as something beautiful and romantic when they're anything but. And in order for these relationships to work, the writers have to degrade the female characters and turn them into submissive doormats because it's apparently these whiny little men finding true love is more important then the women finding love with men that would actually treat them right.
That's why I had always hoped that the writers would put Damon with Katherine. It would've been so entertaining to see how their relationship would play out.
exactly! & it's so disrespectful to the female characters as well as the female audience. it's also misleading. too many people watch relationships like this and, because they don't see how toxic they are, think it's ideal to have relationships like them in real life. no ma'am, not me.
You hated Rumple for protecting his pregnant wife? He entrapped her on board that ship because he knows she is going crazy in season 6. She put herself in a sleeping curse out of spite and put both herself and her child in danger. Remember the after-effects of the curse presented in season 2? Now she tries to get away from her husband who protected their child from Hades and managed to wake her up, because a apparent grown up version of their fetus son told her in a dream that Rumple was dangerous. Knowing her she would have left the ship and put herself and their child in danger just because she didn't want to have anything to do with her husband, who happened to be fighting to protect both her and their child.

Rumple has lied to her, manipulated her, tried to get her to compromise her own beliefs and integrity for the sake of their relationship. None of which is healthy. They were never going to stand a chance as long as Rumple was the dark one because no matter how much he said it was for her or them, or their child, Rumple thought of himself and his power first and foremost. Belle had every right to stand up for herself and their unborn child.
THANK YOU
I really like how this show took on addiction with rumple and how they showed how addiction a destroy a relationship...
Rumple had his own agenda I get her getting angry about the whole lies she put up with. All rumple wanted was love but power is too much of an addiction to him. Rumple being the dark one is a blessing and a curse! In the end they finally got back together. BUT IT TOOK WAY TOO LONG! Stupid writers.
Well at least in the end he was able to give it up for her.
No love. He cut it for Trainspotting 2
Shadow the Wolf hahaha
Classic abuser sighs
i really don't like bell.
I love her she is my favourite character
I do love Rumbelle, I like the twist on the story, but I really do think they could have written Belle better. I suppose she could just be hardened after a lifetime with a man like Rumple, but where's the loving bookworm? She comes across as having a stick up her ass XD
Anyone else hoped that with Trainspotting two we would get a crossover....I would live to see the Trainspotting crew in storybrook. Yeah I know it would not work well but it is not like the last two season crossovers natch that well.
No he cut it for his movie! In a different reality he's an actor :)) (a fan of one of the Bobby's works - Stargate universe and the other one Stargate series - SG1 the first one :) )
Bobby looks great with a short hair ♥ But seriously without Bobby I wouldn't be a fan of Rumple.
Hail Bobby Carlyle
Bronson: Yeahhh Bobby forever....
Also I hope xyz pokemon writers are not trolling cause they did it.... kind of.... and now she's gone... :/ :P
The one who truly is the biggest hero in that town. and they are throwing him under the bus.
if they were not going to give Belle and Rumple a Happy ending like they do with the kidnappers(Charmings)
and "redeemed" murderers, rapists and woman abusers(Regina, Hook) why the heck can't Rumple!?
lol she's just too goody for Rumple's complicated shoes.... that's why she's not That Belle :)) If it wasn't for Emilie that I really like her I wouln't be a fan of this relationship at all either.... seriously Robert is the best at playing an addicted person anyway :)) Quite excited for the second Trainspotting :))
CrazyGood88 Uhhh RumpleBumple is the biggest abuser of women there is. He killed Milah, enslaved Belle, tortured Anna, imprisoned Elsa, took Ella's baby from her.....
Human Disaster I hope you're saying that as a compliment, dearie!
was belle just out of bed or something? i really think her dress was too short there
She doesn't look pregnat
Im glad he stopped tiptoeing around her, she pretends she's this perfect person who only does good but she really isn’t, she's a hopeless hypocrite that everyone else has to go out of their way to save and then listen to her whining about the relationship she repeatedly chose to be in
He is such a good guy 😂
Persephone's Underworld I wasn't being
condescending.
"As for not wanting anything to do with him, love doesn't work like that."
Not sure what you mean by this statement, but love does not permit anyone to harass you and disrespect your desire for space. That person clearly doesn't value you as an individual if they think this way.
As for his grand sacrifice in S3, it's irrelevant because ultimately, he went back to evil. He ALWAYS goes back to evil, which negates those few nuggets of goodness.
Rumbelle at least isn't portrayed as oh so romantic when either or them or both are pulling a shitty move"
Actually a few times they've been portrayed even when he's busy lying and scheming behind her back.
The longer I watch this show... the less I like Belle.
Princess Belle, you should have chosen Gaston.
Transporting and it's too long
He was better with longer hair

I hated rumplestilkin after this scene!!
