    So glad for this device. It’s been missing in the market. Akai doesn’t know what a great device they’ve created. This is gonna be a game changer for musicians and the synth/MPV market…undeniably.

    I know the guy is promoting it etc but you can genuinely see the excitement in his body and face, lol I'm no one and i do not have a clue about making sounds and music and especially the software but this has me hooked lol i only stumbled on it after stumbling on mpc one etc only in the last 2 weeks or so but the potential this brings to everyone is mad lol like 30 years ago how mush would this type of thing cost! in todays money this is for nothing really.

    THE WHOLE MPC LINE IS DOPE!!!What i dont get is... if you are in need of a 37 because of space? You probably should just stick to laptop and mini keys!? If you can't fit a 61 key wherever the 37 key fits are you making beats in the closet? Its dumb to me if they didn't make it with a battery! I want to be mobile with this.. not tied to a wall somewhere. You lose a bunch of key features for the sake of SIZE IMO! INT SSD, MIC PRE, TOUCH STRIP ETC...

    The stem separation has been available in Cubase for over 5 years and the quality of the conversion depends on your CPU. In standalone it is going to sound horrific, that is why all these demos are in controller mode. In controller mode the mpc just becomes a glorified midi controller, we do not have standalone machine in the industry that has professional sound and its Dawless, its 2024 and companies like this are just toying us around with plastic toys. Instead of Akai addressing the AD/DA converters, giving us better filters, and fixing the DAW that they keep pushing us to use, they making plastic toys. Sound matters.

      @skylerdarkavelifinesseflow7115 5 месяцев назад +1

      You sure about that.. How did you know. I genuinely wanna know. Have you tried a demo or something cause that's a lot to talk about if ya really haven't and just know about cubase. And this MPC isn't in controller mode

    • @dubmaverick69
      @dubmaverick69 5 месяцев назад

      Look at the keyboard its connected to the laptop the whole time and then he says lets go to controller mode for stems, there is glitch in the video and the whole time you doing stems it is in controller mode. This is the same gimmick they had with time stretching that all the stuff sounded great(in standalone mode) until people found out that in standalone you dont get Elastic Pro which is in Cubase, Protools, Bitwig etc, so when they switch back to standalone all the stuff they have in controller mode, sounds like crap, because in standalone mode it uses Pro Ten(not very good algo). The issue we are trying to address here is that, they keep saying we giving you standalone machine but for some of most critical work we have to go into controller mode. So basically they are a software company with great workflow with a controller. I want this to work, I been at this since they came out with these machines(at this for 30 years) but once you AB the sound you realize this is just a toy. There is nothing magical about the stems feature they introduced, if you in the industry then you see others who have done it, the difference here is you have a controller(workflow) that is just making it easy to navigate. @@skylerdarkavelifinesseflow7115

      Actually Akai and Andy already said in previous videos that for now Stems separation will be controller mode only and the standalone version is planned to come out later.
      I think you have a good point. Since stem separation needs usually a lot of resources, Akai will need some time to optimize it in a way that it works well in standalone and sounds well enough. Let's see if they figure it out.

      @@DavidBulczak what previous videos. Because I'm seeing that it's gonna be for standalone then some are saying both. Then another is saying only controller mode

    • @moeranyc
      @moeranyc 2 месяца назад +2

      @dubmaverick69 very interesting. So basically this mpc will always need to be connected (for now) to what ever computer and their software in order to achieve the stem results they are demoing because stand alone mode won’t work much less give these types of results when it does. Is that the only con?
