Thanks! This series will get better as we go, and I will start looking at more specific scenarios, including how to defend Gaalsien rushes and Turret cheese.
Don't wanna hijack too much but some quick pointers:
2x PC skimmer rush: you need dps from turrets and LAV:s to survive. Use repair beam on carrier. If you have support cruiser, put turret at your 1st base with support cruiser next to it. 2-3 AAVs are great for smoking your resource lines, but AAV:s cannot hold on their own.
2x PC assault ship rush: turrets turrets turrets, start baserunner inventory and start 2nd baserunner as soon as 16 seconds is left on the research. You need huge, open fields of fire for your turrets or they won't get enough shots off. Get rails as soon as you can, if you have AAV research they are good for smoking mineral lines and/or exposed turrets.
2x PC assault rails rush: as soon as you scout it, start railgun research (if possible without grabbing AAV research). Keep equal-ish rail numbers, keep your max railgun range distance to line of sight blockers and he can't kill your rails. Turrets are good but be careful so they aren't placed _too_ open. If you research 1 power level you can use your carrier to bully the rails around with range + missile power. Never ever try to fight with LAVs.
Against all gaalsien 2x PC rushes sneaking 1-2 AAV off to your opponents mainbase can do extreme damage, since there's no military production at home.
Excellent advise. 2 PC rushes are really difficult to hold. I will be doing videos on rush defense in the near future and will make use of your input. Been practicing different builds a lot lately.

would it be an advantage to start scouting with the drone from the baserunner at start?
Ich lol Many players do that. It will delay your Support Cruiser very slightly, but its sometimes worth it especially if you suspect a full on rush build.

If you keep the baserunner you can use the probe for scouting instead, why wouldn’t you? I just love my baserunner to much to sell it.

GG dudes Gaming Macro? It means a focus on the large scale aspect of gameplay in an RTS. So like producing lots of units etc.
