FMC Chicago Black Dance Legacy Project: Divination 2024

Forward Momentum Chicago proudly participated in the Chicago Black Dance Legacy Project's presentation of Divination: The Dancing Souls of Black Folk, August 24, 2024. FMC students returned to Jay Pritzker Pavilion, part of the Millennium Park Residency Program, with ten dynamic companies in a concert exploring the divine, mystical and spiritual ways our ancestors communicate and celebrate with us. The performance, 'Yemaya,' was choreographed by Bradlee Lathon to Baião Destemperado · Barbatuques · Fernando Barba.
