@@nico114334the movie was independent when it was filmed! Monique never complained about what she was paid! She did it to support her friend on his film project! So this was not a matter of being upset about low pay!
@@delretadonaldsonThe movie was an independant film with a small budget. That is important to mention when you talk about her salary. The entire budget of the film was low. Now she could have had royalties and residuals added to her deal to offset the upfront low salary. That seems to be where her and her team failed.
Monique is funnier than Ellen, and a delight to watch. She gets all the love and admiration.

If this was made available much sooner I believe it would have balanced out a lot of the vitriol this legend has suffered through but that's okay; its delay makes her testimony of God's providence much greater. This is when Monique was sweet.. it's sad hearing her story..Monique went through a lot but she too is mentally ill and it shows with how she responds towards Oprah and Tyler..
