its insanely bad. Runs poorly and nothing happens.
It was the only way to really have a game in the modern era. It gives you something to do besides fighting wars, which is something that really doesn't happen that much anymore, besides civil wars, and the war on terror. Even with its faults, its better than the alternative: Power and Revolution, a $50 game that remains buggy as hell, and much more boring.
The states are just godawful and bordergore is unavoidable.

Fun Fact: playing with the soviet union path as Russia in the new millennium dawn mod crashes your game, so you can not even do a world revolution, which is the point of the bloody path.
Millenium Dawn Modern Day Mod is great and all but the dev's only focus on fleshing out countries instead of optimising the mod to NOT CRASH!
The mods devs are absolute morons. None of the players wanted the merge but the idiots went ahead with it anyways. I'm practically banned from both mod pages in terms of commenting because I kept voicing my opinion on how they treated the players they made the mod for.

There aren't any official versions. Not sure if any of the branches were updated to the current game
@@tak7377 they had an older version up running, but its gone now because of some drama. Novum Vexilum is still there and it has the old modern day mod as a basis, but im not sure if its getting any updates or if that one is also pretty much abandoned.
