Mispronouncing words, weird connections between words and thought, over-doing it, and yeah I get it now. He tailors to his schtick to his audience. well I believe he actually never tried to be famous here in Germany. He is doing great though, not many German actors or comedian making a name in the States, though many tried already.

Just a reminder: David Hasslehoff,( as a singer, absolutely phoning it in) was a God in Germany. No one in America has bad enough taste in music for him to even be considered a musician. Thula Borg is a successful comedian, but he is not a household name as Hasslehoff was in Germany.
@@colinmcdonald2499 yea cause the tastes are completely different. since in germany theres the music genre pop-schlager in which hasslehoff is pretty much to be identified. also his musical success came out of his acting career. every boy wanted to be like him, and in the end they started to listen to his music aswell. but americans didnt even understand the meaning of the song amerika by rammstein. so I dont expect much from americans here either. you can serve em the shittiest german beer and they will love it, which we dont even sell in germany.
