Oh my goodness Simon! I've just learned of this through you. So awful and sad. We all go about our days feeling safe and sound in our environment, knowing what is coming next, knowing we can go home to the comforts of our home, etc but really it can sometimes be a false sense of security. Routine makes us feel in line with the world. When something happens to shake all of this up it can really be scary. I'm so happy that you are o.k. although I am saddened that lives were lost. No where is safe, even schools and churches are targets. My heartfelt sympathy to the families and loved ones of the victims who needless deaths happened for nothing more than hate. The news said police are keeping an open mind as to the cause of this event. That they have someone in custody in relation to it. Stay safe, hope you find a safe place to sleep tonight. Are they offering any options for shelter for you and others unable to get back into their homes?

Really, they matter little to the higher ups. You want to hurt someone, you go and hurt them, not the innocents who have no say, nor part and no ability to do anything!
