We just lost our 15 yr old son July 23, 2012. He was riding his motorcycle n he loved and lived for country music! He was special needs n weighed one pound when he was born. He fought so hard to b here for only 15 short years. We love you Austin Ratliff.

Just heard this song for the first time on The Voice. I looked it up and read the lyrics and just cried. My grandpa died 3 years ago on December 8th. I'm sixteen years old, and I hate knowing he'll never see me get married or see my children. I hate even thinking about him, not because I didn't love him obviously, but it just hurts so much. I wish he was here.

My mother lost her dad when she was 19,and he was only 39,and he was going to be 40.I herd that he was great person.when I was five I lost my grandpa on my dads side.in 2009 I was hospitalized and cat that I had since I was five runaway.I was very sad and depressed. So I know how it feels,but you get threw it a day at a time.
I love this song! I lost alot of people in my life but I never said "how dare you" (after all death is just a part of life, isn't it??) until my friend committed suicide 7 years ago. That is the most hellish experience that I've ever had. It has taken me 7 years to be able to accept it. Hearing the saying "if God brings you to it, He'll bring you through it" has given me the strength to get through it though. And oddly I can listen to this song and, as sad as it is, I smile.

Miranda & Blake wrote the song about the passing of Blake's older brother. It just happened to be her single and a few months later Blake's Dad and her childhood friend Mark died w/i 2 weeks of each other. That is what she says in the begining of the video. This was one of her first concerts back . You could tell that she was still really hurting.

The lyrics "Mid February shouldn't be so scary" gives me chills everytime because he passed away February 15th and I always describe that day and the couple days after that as scary to me.

This songs hits me hard. I had a rough year 2019. June 20th we got a call at 7:30 Am Saying my papa was going by amblence because he couldn't breathe. Then at the hospital we got the worst news ever we got told the entire family had to say the goodbyes because her Wasn't going to make it. The hospital gave him a beautiful quilt and was amazing to the family. Then they said they will transfer him over to hospice by the amblience. And as soon as. We walk though the doors of hospice we got told his breathing completely changed in the amblience. And he wasn't alert but he was alive when we arrived. But I had to watch my papa take very last breath and tell my nanny papas gone he passed away at 1:50 pm he did have stage 4 lung cancer. But it was respotory failure that killed him.
Then the night before Christmas Eve my dog aleeha passed away. She was sick. She died at 7:30 pm my heart still hurts so bad. I wish Miranda if she saw this if she could reach out to me. And I love her so much. I loved Her saying. Tell people you love them cause you don't know when it's over. You absolutely don't. This song has A different effect on me. now hit me so emotionaly hard now that my papas gone. and this song makes me cry. But I still love it
