Making a GIRDER (Not Springer) Front End From Scratch | Part 2 | LEGS!

- This is my first series following the work I do everyday in my shop at One-Up Moto Garage. In this video I cover the fabrication of the legs of this from-scratch GIRDER front end. I'm building it to suit a Honda Shadow VLX600 frame (for now- custom built frame to come) with a Honda NT650 Hawk engine. It also has a VFR800 custom Kineo wheel mounted to the Hawk's single sided swing arm. Subscribe to follow this build as I go!

Beach Bar for the handlebar. Love this fork design.
Finally a clear, high quality video of someone making a girder. This channel is quickly becoming 1 of my favourites
🥳 thanks! Love to hear it
Impatiently awaiting part 3…
😅 I know me too
can't wait for part 3
So much to do! I just got the brake calipers in, I have to figure out how I’ll mount them.
looking good! i've had lots of girders over the years; always liked them. the way you split the curve makes me think of those crocker girders.
Thanks! I’ll have to check those out!
Good stuff. FYI to those looking to buy a tube notcher the BuildPro ATN100 tube notcher is way more adjustable, and cost is 1/3 of a Baileigh.
Yea the Baileigh is stupid expensive. Really the limitation I had was with the cut depth of the hole saw more than anything.
Finally some good video keep it up, i see you uploaded previous part of this video "1 year later" i recommend you to speed up.
yea haha at this rate it's gonna take awhile! I sure hope I can get the girder done in the next part, then it's on to making the frame.
Where is part 3
I just posted part 2 yesterday so it will probably be minimum a few weeks before I get part 3 put together. I still have to figure out brake calipers, and handle bars.
