I am 71 years old now, and this song "A Whiter Shade of Pale", still rings loud and strong in my heart, since I heard it first in my high school days. In this rendition of the song by Gary Brooker, in his senior years, the spirit of the song was expressed even better. The original instrumentations in this music: piano, organ, guitar and drums all touch the soul so much in such a way that it is almost hypnotizing. Indeed, this is one of greatest music ever composed and sang. I just heard that Gary Brooker has passed away. It is sad that such real music maker can no longer be here with us on earth, but nevertheless his voice and his music will perhaps forever remain.
Disappointed no to see or hear an organ in this clip. Very good performance however. RIP Gary Brooker. Your music & legend lives on forever in our hearts.

I have always loved Gary Brooker. Since the first time I heard this song in 1967, when I was 9 years old, I have felt like Mr Brooker somehow took part of me and magically put it into that song. I saw Garry Brooker in 1998 with P.Frampton,J.Bruce and Ringo Star(All Stars).What a magic moment.This is one the best balad of all the time.
