I just can’t stop grinning watching you two out on your travels - yeah, I subscribed for the photography aspects, but you’re making us all smile with everything else associated with photography and travel - all we need to do now is persuade you to organise some workshops - i can just imagine the hilarity we’d have 👍
James Popsys - yeah seriously, let’s get some ideas thrashed out ...... I mean, loads of YouTubing photographers are doing workshops these days, but clicking the book here links usually takes you to an offer to remortgage your house, or sell an organ.... but I bet there’s plenty of us who’d love to turn up for a more low brow photography workshop/meet-up, and where you’d have the joys of us joining in with your passion for sheep photography (damn that autocorrect 😜) - Mike
Farmers union ice coffee mate, dare is my second preference! You’ll have to come to SA, can show you round Adelaide and all the favourite places our resident welsh family loves since they have moved here 🙌🏻 Adelaide is the real Aus experience - laid back, easy going and plenty to do, and photograph, you and Emily will love it !!
I'm hoping to go out to Australia next year to meet to meet my partners parents and I can honestly say your video was of no use to me whatsoever but it was entertaining and very funny so thank you
Haha!! Loved the part where you tried to be frustrated cause you JUST missed the ferry, but then saw a cute little family of ducks 🦆 🤣❤️🥰 Hello from Australia 🇦🇺
from someone who didn't know anything about eating kangaroo meat, when James mentioned that the only kangaroos they've seen were dead kangaroos in the fridge, I completely lost it
Quote "I stood on a snake once in Australia"... (slight pause whilst I scratch Australia off my bucket list...) also, Koalas carry chlamydia - big problem, so I've been told. Entertaining as always James, glad you had a great time down under :)
@@user6667azxc I have been known to be amazingly unlucky sooo.. thanks for the suggestion but I don't think I will be heading to Oz any time soon (or having any Koala cuddles 🐨) Snakes, chlamydia and me.. I'm pretty sure it would be a(nother) bad day.
Ryan's Belt. That's a classic! But you weren't far off and Emily was spot on, it's actually O'Ryan's Belt. Irish bloke, sells potatoes. Lost his belt. Lovely fella. Really enjoyed the vlog. Very reminiscent of the New Zealand vlogs, which i thoroughly enjoyed. Hope the house move went well.
So we had Valhalla, menacing kangaroos, a leaky van, and Ryan's belt. Who needs photography content eh?! Also, a free thumbs up because I *never* get to shout "Watch out for snakes" at the screen any more. But today I did. Simple things...
"they're in the fridge" lol - too funny mate, Healesville is beautiful thats for sure so good one. Gippsland isn't pronounced with a G like Giraffe but G like Gone and its the ocean not the sea lol. Nice work mate
As always great work my friend. By the way I don't at all mind these longer videos. I always learn something new. Whether it's about photography or how quickly you and Emily can run from a kangaroo 😂. Keep it coming.
Enjoyed the video. Great to see Australia, and I enjoy the interaction between you and your wife. Video is also photography, btw, and most photog youtubers incorporate a ton more of that in their videos than actual picture taking. Which is fine with me. It's all about telling a story, and there's lots of ways to do that.
I went out for a bike ride, got cold and muddy, I got home and watched this while lead in the bath. Love Australia and I too wonder why I ever left Sydney to return to the UK.
Great video James (and Emily!). Did you go to the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery? It’s the bomb, we live in Melbourne and go there often on weekends for treats. Glad you made it out of Aus alive, would hate for these videos to come to an end!!
Very fun video segment. Great to see Emily keeping you in line throughout. I'll probably never be able to go to Australia but you definitely sparked my imagination. Looking forward to your next destination.
Hey James and Emily. As a Victorian local, I've been to pretty much all those places (including Walhalla :-) Interestingly, it was the last town in Australia to be connected to electricity. In 1998!). When I was young we went to South Gippy and Wilson's Prom pretty much every summer. It's nice to see someone else enjoy our lovely state. Next time, as someone else has mentioned, try the Famers Union Iced Coffee. It kills Dare dead. I mentioned in a comment on another of your vids that if I'd known you were here, I'd have bought you beer. One of the best Australian beers is Coopers, so good to see you had a few! Don't worry too much about the next vid, we know it will be entertaining :-)
So beside eating and drinking you did what in Austrailia? Just pulling your leg. Great video! It’s fun and interesting to see pictures outside the tourist zones.
O mankind! do your duty to your Lord, and fear (the coming of) a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Really liked this video, first time see you both together here, also loved that shot of Emily on the road, very 500px style, also liked Mount Oberon too great shots up there especially the timelapse
Maybe a wierd question: but how do you not get condensation in the campervan while sleeping in it while it rains outside? Is the ac running at all times or what?
what no way. I have a friend who used to live out at lakes entrance! looks like you had fun. next time come to the west side of Aus. it's way better than the east!
Great vid as always 👍 just wondering what lens you use for your star photo (and the northern lights in Greenland vid)? I have a G9 and want a lens for Astrophoto.. cheers
A bit late now, BUT if you ever get the chance to again, you should absolutely do a TimTam Slam (Bite off two oposite edges and suck tea (or coffee) through the timtam), it gets the biscuit all soft and melty.
@@JamesPopsysPhoto seriously, you're really funny.Your vlogs are well presented, the audio is clear, the music isn't too loud, and you don't start every new piece to camera with the word "so". That's rare these days, and very welcome. Keep it up!
Entertaining as usual, Mr P. I noted the Coopers Pale Ale. Did you try the red label Sparkling Ale? It's 5.8% so the video results could have been amusing after a few. Next time, come to sunny Queensland.
😂😂 for someone who lives in Victoria this was quite entertaining. I like your reference to a wombat being like a bear that crawls 😂.
