- Whales are the most likely animal to beach themselves and do so more frequently than one might expect. Why this happens is, however, not completely resolved. Whats more, whales have a tendency to explode after they die, which might endanger any clueless bystander that came to inspect the carcass. But why do they do that, exactly?

"More Mass Means More Gas" - I don't know if that's a really good idea for a t-shirt or a really bad one.
Also: I was thinking about making a second channel soon. I enjoy animals, nature and all that but at some point, you also wanna try something different, so it doesn't get boring. I can imagine, or rather remember. I found once a pretty decomposed whale on a beach. When standing downwind you didnt wanted to come closer than 150 meters in that strong wind. On the other hand, the wind allowed to come pretty close from sideways and when staying upwind to it. In hindsight Im lucky, cause that one was already mostly bones with only some rests of dried skin, no danger of explosions. We didn't stayed too long, even upwind you could smell it from 3 meters.
One washed up on the beach when I was a kid, it smelled pretty horrible haha

I’ve heard of this. Reminded me of a teacher who told us the story of his puffer fish that died. It managed to wedge itself under a rock. Two guys climbed on top the dead whale while another held a camera and was about to take their picture, when the two people on the whale carcass fell through up to their waists. A blue cloud squirted out of the whale that smelled terrible and everyone on the beach covered their nose and ran, leaving the two men stuck in the whale to climb out by themselves.

We were driving down the beach when we found a massive dead whale.
We could smell it from miles, unlike any heinous smell I've smelt before. Up close it was gushing out goo, blood and blubber from various holes.
I made the mistake of driving around it and through the streams of liquid ... Even after a year, numerous washes, chassis washes, wd40, waxes etc the car still wreaked.
