Also, in this episode (and this may be the only time I will ever say this), Ben was wrong. Mookie should not have been the one hitter. One hitters are usually either on base machines or fast guys or both. They aren’t usually hitters like Mookie. Freddie Freeman could have worked there, as he has some nice contact against righties and decent contact against lefties, but McClanahan is a leftie, so my best option for replacing Mookie at one is Miguel Rojas. His good contact against lefties and low power would have made him the perfect candidate. My lineup would be:

6: Taylor
7: Thompson
8: Muncy
9: Vargas
