I dunno why this videos and the other ones are not viral on YT, since they are really useful and plenty of good practices that every PM should take in account. Thanks 4 the videos
Wow, thank you! JIRA videos are a very specific topic, so it's a bit hard to make them viral. I'm more than happy to know that they are helpful! Still, feel free to share them to those who you believe may benefit from them! Cheers!
@@DOITAGILE we know how these algos work and i'd def be happy if they gave you a reason to make more videos. I've been going through your others too. super helpful. some context - i'm helping a new team set up some of their workflows, for development, design, and some other things. I've used jira a little in the past, but never as the guy setting it up and am not familiar with good defaults, tips, etc, or where to even look. and of course it's all very time sensitive. in any case, see ya around. subscribed and hit the little bell
Great video. Is is possible to configure quick filters to show, by assignee, all tasks/stories/defects in the bottom section, and linked new features in the top section?
Thank you for the video! It was really helpful. I have a question: if all sub-tasks of a story are moved to DONE, is the story itself moved to DONE automatically?
Thanks Loredana for taking the time to view! Regarding your question, that is an option that you can implement in JIRA indeed. However, for flexibility reasons, we decided not to do such. But I guess that will be more of a personal preference for the teams.
I found JIRA, with the standard features, very limited in terms of providing this type of JQL. This is why I made use of ScriptRunner. But if you find a way, please let me know, as I would be definitely interested.

Great explanation on how to configure the scrum board for the needs of the daily scrum and team members.

Very cool... appreciate this very much.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to watch and comment! Really appreciated!

Yes you can! However, be careful, as you are introducing several different workflows, which will likely make your board much harder to read.

Thanks for the video. This was helpful. Curious if there is a way without using Scriptrunner to setup similar filters using what Jira provides.
