Hi Mate I never thought that I would need something to help me get up and down on my knees, but thats life. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Rob n June The hanging baskets and borders are just beautiful, June's night lights must be so pretty. I think nature s giving us a taste of things to come, we can't live on soft fruits and chillis😂and beautiful flowers. I have given up growing anything but zucchinis and pumpkins as the wildlife dosent eat them. Thanks.
Hi Maude I love doing my hanging baskets and this year i think they are some of the best I have done, June does the borders. I will do a short video showing the lights one night. And nature is giving us a hard time again this year but we have to learn and move along with it. Only things doing well for me as you saw in the video are my onions and Zucchinis. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍👍👍👍👍
Plant some more tomatoes if you still can. The onions that have seeded at least save one or two of each varieties for next season.😊 It looks like the weather has played havoc with the plants bar peppers.😊
I Rick Unfortunately I think it is too late to get any more tomatoes in now. I have hundreds of the onion seeds so I will just pull them and get them ate. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Connie I am very pleased with my hanging baskets this year. You never know the Tomatoes may give me some fruit. Onions are good again this year Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍👍👍👍👍
You know how iPhone says oh here’s a picture from this day last year? Well mine was a tomato picture and last year they were huge but this year barely any 😢. But we can’t move mother natures plans and hopefully we have an Indian summer. My peppers are practically none existent, it’s a good thing I just enjoy the garden. Fingers crossed for you Robbo but have a great week and hello to the lovely June, Alison 🌞🇨🇦 Ps wow 😮 huge onion 🧅
Hi Ali After reading your comment I went back to look at my pics from last year and like you I had some big ones on the vine. Hopefully things will start to pick up for us. My peppers are starting to get a bit bigger now. Hope your plants pick up. 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi I think a lot of us is feeling that we are behind this year. Hopefully I will be starting to harvest some chillis and peppers soon. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍👍👍👍👍
I'm already eating tomatoes, but only grew cherry ones which are prolific and a sea of yellow flowers. It hasn't been a good year for growing generally though as slugs were an issue earlier.
Hi What a year it has been, normally now I have some great toms but not this year. My outside tomatoes (Crimson Crush ) are doing far better than the greenhouse ones. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks once again for the tour of plot & garden. Ya onions look fab & the hanging baskets are so lovely Toms can be late at times for me I grow them in west facing conservatory & in a netted cage. I’ve picked ripe toms as late as end of October even in the outside net cage 🤞 we have an extended summer.
Hi Margaret 👋👋 I am very happy with my onions this year. Hanging baskets are some of the best I have ever done. I don't mind the Tomatoes being late as long as they have got toms on, mine have hardly any toms on at all. 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Nick I know my tomatoes was late going out but I would off thought that they would have had more trusses on them. My big onions are doing well this year. Good luck with your tomatoes. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍👍👍👍👍
This has been my worst year ever for Tomatoes, all we need now is the dreaded blight to Finnish them off. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍👍👍👍👍
nice rob, we all having a tough year with veg, chillis tomatoes and my cucumbers are a total fail this year, your hanging baskets are amazing, what flowers are those last two baskets the red and white that look like little people please
Hi Yes it is been another of those years ago, all sent to try us. I am really happy with my hanging baskets this year, some of the best I have done. The flowers in last two baskets are Busy Lizzie's (impatience) I grow them all from seed and mainly use a company called Moles Seeds. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍👍👍👍👍
We have 2 of those kneelers....would not do without them! LOL not sure I could get up sometimes without it. Ain't aging fun. Those wax begonias in the hangers are marvy...did you grow the begonias from seed?
Hi Robin I am like you with my kneelers, don't think I could get up on my own now. Yes I grow all my bedding plants from seed, I normally get the seed from Moles seeds. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Cherie It has been very hot here for the last few days and now they say we are going to have thunderstorms. Just not sure how this year will unfold. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. 👍👍👍👍👍
