I love listening to this podcast. Y'all are doing the Lord's work indeed. However, a statement made by brother Ogapile (forgive me if I misspelled your name), you said, "Women age like milk, and men like wine." Sure! We cannot be having this mentality in 2024, especially as Adventists, let's leave it for the world as we strongly believe we are not of the world. That statement is problematic and perpetuates harmful gender stereotypes. Are you suggesting that men improve through experiences and age, like fine wine, while women deteriorate, like milk? This is the reason why men think it's ok for them to waste away in the world and come to church looking for marriage, and somehow the women is of no value when she does the same. And I get that you said that people can dispute the point you made, being adamant that it stands true. No! No! We all age like fine wine in both our appearances and in wisdom we gain. And our values depreciate with accessibility and availability - like milk that has been out there, it will spoil. Both men and women please.

I couldn’t agree more, that sounded a lot like a worldy concept…it’s not scriptural.
