I can relate to this young man. In 1991 we were sent to Iraq for Operation Desert Shield which turned into Desert Storm. I was a medical photojournalist that worked with Combat Camera One stationed aboard the USNS Mercy. His duties as a combat medic put him into a focus and he never left that until he was finished with his tour. This young man is a shining example of how we all should live. Glad you made it home brother, and thank you for your service.

At 49, I quit a class 1 railroad job to grow full time with my wife on 1/4 acre. Your not stupid if you do something you are called to do. The stupidest thing anyone can do is to work all their life at a job that they don’t enjoy just because someone told them it was the thing to do.
