how the heck does this only have 35 views after 4 hours? this is actual quality content that is posted by youtubers with tens or even hundreds of thousands of subscribers.

Genuinely an incredible video essay. Hearing the smile through your voiceover made it almost feel like I was there in the moment, experiencing the game too. Awesome job man!

This game was a massive thing for me when I was as young as 5 years old, and it is still relevant. I play this game pretty much all the time, because it is therapeutic for me, and I don't feel alone, even when playing by myself. It allows me to be free in my own little world, far away from the dangers of reality. I want to live in this game so badly, just to be free forever.

The game is truly timeless. It’s given me a game experience that is so unique. I remember reading an article where it listed all the games that one should play before they die and this was up there. After playing it, it’s definitely a game worthy of that list.
Loved hearing your thoughts! Thank you!

You deserve more views! This was a really wholesome and charming and earnest video!
As far as I understand how the multiplayer works it's likely you played with several people. Each area puts together two people who happen to be online, not necessarily the same ones. So you befriended several people, and they befriended more and more. It might be sad to know it wasn't just one person, but it can also be wholesome to hear you made multiple companions.

      Thank you man!
I remember when I finished the game on a new playthrough, it gave me a list of several players I experienced the levels with. That was a playthrough where I took breaks in between the levels. In other words: It took me a few sittings to get through to the end. On my first playthrough though, the one where I feature a majority of the footage, the only player that was listed was the player I featured at the end of the video by the name of "Ghost". I might be wrong, but if both the players stay playing, I don't believe the game will separate the two of you, as that's the kind of experience the developers were aiming for. Now if one leaves, the game will try to pair you up with someone else to still try and get that coop experience. Regardless, it's like you said: Even with multiple companions, the game is still effective.

Awesome video!! For some reason, just a couple of days ago, I ended up downloading the game on my PS5 along with the game that I really intended to buy. I thought I accidentally added it to cart and unknowingly paid for it. I decided to check it out not expecting anything, but that 1 hour of playing Journey was the happiest I've been in awhile. ❤

The more times you journey the more your body is covered in markings. Find all the murals and you learn exactly how the world works and it's history, even more than what the sages will show you. Reach more glyphs and you will climb higher and higher. Obtain them all and you earn the white robe of a sage and a power unknown to others. If you're lucky or ask for help you can even find a few relics of the past. These tasks will be arduous and lonely, and eventually you will no longer get much joy from the repetition... but at least you will serve as a beacon of awe and mystery, and know exactly how to make the journey all the more rewarding for the next generation.

When I played this many years ago, I didn’t try to interact with the other cloth people I saw and so I journeyed alone. I instinctively hid from the creatures and in turn, did not experience the suffering or terror you did. And in the snow area I’m pretty sure I just moved through it too fast to notice the issues it was causing because I don’t remember that part. I didn’t even know you could lose your cloth(health). Maybe, like numerous games at that time, the PS3 version was bugged. But I still enjoyed the journey and the beautiful scenery. Journey and The Unfinished Swan were 2 of my favorite indie games from back then.
