Poor, poor Phil. He literally had to stare at his dear friends as he was losing consciousnesses, who just sat right next to him doing nothing, while being choked out by a very muscular and very angry Tongonese man who was raised by the legendary crazy badass Haku/Meng! You can barely make it out, but if you take your time and look very closely at his facial expression...You can see the very moment when he finally realizes no one is saving him and his poor little heart breaks! I just realized that slowly Phil is becoming the human equivalent of a "Fainting Goat". Which is a goat with a hereditary genetic disorder called myotonia congenita, which causes it to seize up and "faint" whenever it's surprised or frightened. Farmers started to specifically breed goats with this disorder, to use them as "living decoys" to reduce or eliminate any casualties due to predators or wild animals. They would put a couple in a herd of regular goats or other more higher valued animals so if they were attacked by wolves, wild dogs, etc. when the herd starts to run these "fainting goats" would suddenly "faint" and be left behind, which then the predators would focus on instead of continuing their hunt or at least distract them long enough so the more valuable animals can get away.
