I would think this however we also see Godzilla has smaller dorsal plates during the finale fight since they were regrowing, also they say after the prime death
I honestly still consider the MUTO prime to be a canon creature, as it shows a connection to the mutos in 2014, as well as the skeletal remains of one of Godzilla's own kind Daegon, and the change in Godzilla's dorsal plates. Not to mention that even if the Monarch legacy of monsters series doesn't acknowledge the events of Godzilla aftershock, it doesn't mean that the events didn't happen, especially since the series actually contradicted what happened to Godzilla during the attempt to destroy him during 1954.
Fr we seen the new species of muto in the show so prime should be in it but they should put it in the last season if they then even we had titamac and other creatures that destroyed zilla
Muto Prime is still canon. They just didn't show the battle since that would mean they would need to have a larger budget to show the fight and all the events that happen in the book.
Only the comic Godzilla Awakening stopped being Canon, because before it was decanonized it already had inconsistencies and contradictions with the Lore of the Monsterverse, however the rest of the comics continue to be part of the history of this universe, well remember that the fight that Godzilla had with the Muto Prime occurred shortly after the battle in San Francisco, that is, in 2014 and the series is set in 2015 and already in the last moments of the final chapter in 2017.
Im holding out hope that the characters just don't keep up with Godzilla, cause back then its only Monarch doing the observation and its not become as public as say GXK where Titans are more active than ever
Just to correct the reason why Muto Prime has not been mentioned nor shown in the MV films and tv series is because the events of aftershock was already explained and took months after G-day in 2014 (a year before legacy of monsters) where it was a secret side mission led by emma Russell, While the characters like tim and Verdugo from legacy of monsters were part of a different division that detects, study, and investigate the radiation levels in case of a titan presence or emergence. So clearly they weren't part of that story nor assigned for that mission and it wouldnt make sense for them to mention anything about the events of Aftershock if they weren't there 😂. Just because muto prime hasnt been shown nor mentioned in both series and films doesn't mean that the character is retconned if the studios are not trying to contradict anything that happened in the comic.
@@goldenhate6649 that only depends on who you hire for the series that gives a damn or not, legendary actually acknowledge their source material such as the comics, they only hired writers who didnt read the comics nor paid attention to the MV lore while adding random characters along with details that dont add up but still doesn't contradict the other comics except for awakening. but like I said just because muto prime isn't mentioned by the characters (who were literally not part of the events of aftershock nor part of the same group as emma and serizawa) doesn't mean she's non canon 😂.

I always felt like the comics, especially the Aftershock, were almost disregarded by the movies because there was almost no reference to them. Sometimes, not talking about them makes sense like BoK being in the 90s and Kong only having one movie, but Aftershock had so many crazy events that it never made sense for it not to be recognized entirely in KotM or KvG. I hope it isn't canon, and going forward, Legendary doesn't make this same mistake for their canon.
What I also didn't notice, is any mention of the monster that godzilla was chasing, which was also destroyed by the castle bravo nuke. The Shinomura. As the nuke was meant to destroy both of them, but only godzilla remained. But in the series, this monster was never mentioned, which confused me a lot.
I’ll be hyped if there’s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2. We got to remember that the Monsterverse is no stranger for making graphic novel Titans become non-existent canon with the rest of the installments. Godzilla: Awakening is a great example of this with Shinomura, an awesome monster that unfortunately isn't canon anymore and I would even stretch it by calling the creature loose canon as there's no way to implement it into the Monsterverse without causing massive plotholes. So let's hold back our disappointment if it turns out Muto Prime isn't canon anymore, which I hope isn't the case all the same. She's an awesome monster that fits within the lore perfectly and it would be a shame to just throw her out into the trash basket of non canon beasts. Also since Godzilla: Aftershock is set just a few months after the events of G14, it could very well be possible that the characters in M:LoM are bunching up both events as one big time in history. Similar to how we in the real world associate both WW1 and WW2 as the "War Worlds" so it can be easier to identify the events in quick succession. I might be stretching it right there but it's a possibility nonetheless.
I just can’t wait for the MUTO Prime vs King Ghidorah face off!! The dragon beetle vs the hydra!! 🐲 It’s like a faceoff between a titan that causes air related disasters like tornadoes against a titan that causes earth related disasters like earthquakes.
The problem is trying to get a consistent timeline in modern Hollywood. Writers ignore what's been done before for their own egos all the time. It's also incredibly common that they're ignorant of the source material, because they don't care to put in the work 🤦
Another way this could fix it is if Godzilla just evolved his spins between 2014 and Monarch and then in season two that’s when it happens, they can kind of switch some things around a little bit and some things wouldn’t make sense but it would still have it in there and it would still be canon
I feel like godzilla’s dorsals changing at the correct time is enough to canonize aftershock, just like the skull island anime seems to hint that the survivor village that the kracken wipes out is the monarch agents from birth of kong that stayed on the island, seems like the only non canon or soft canon comic is awakening I think it’s called, the one accompanying 2014
0:37 don't forget, alternate versions/realities. One muto exists while the other dosen't. Maybe the comic version only. Also, writer's interpretation. One made the comics, while other made the movies/shows, but I doubt they keep tabs on each other. (Least to a certain degree)
hey goji center, i have an idea, maybe you could try to find out who would win, king titan or Godzilla, i don't know if you should use the lore version though because he's about 260 meters tall.
They need to fix this. There's a chance to keep the comics canon. Just because it hasn't been mentioned, it doesn’t mean it never existed. They have time.
I really dislike when movies don't see and reference book, novel, and cartoons. Only treat the movies as canon, I hate it when that happen. I have the book Godzilla: Aftershock and I really enjoyed it.
The way i think its Canon because godzilla aftershock did happen but since all of the emerging activities from the kaijus made monarch hide the evidence like what they did to male muto thay said it was an "earthquake"
I think this was an issue that Monarch Legacy of Monsters was being recorded when the comic was being made and most likely started its production before the comic so this may have been missed
Would love to see the mutos return. Maybe even see a prime again, or at least see the fight between prime and Godzilla onscreen rather than just from the comic.
Love your videos as usual! Can we get a video about would happen if white spikes from tomorrow war invaded Skull Island? Or if white spikes invaded attack on titan during the rumbling?
Tbh they were never gonna keep up with the comics in the films. No way are they gonna factor in these major events that only a tiny percentage of the audience will be aware of.
I was thinking that the reason we see Godzilla was underground, was because he was cooling off his dorsal plates after they were badly shattered and on fire. So he burrowed underground to cool off his dorsal plates, while taking a nice nap in the process. So, I was really hoping that the main group would AT LEAST point out his newer looking and much bigger dorsal plates. But sadly, they never did.
The moment muto prime is non canon, every feat that everyone use of mv godzilla lifting muto is now gone meaning all the other godzillas are stronger off films
I just want to point out. It's not like he actually lifted it the same way heisei lifted ghidorah or mechagodzilla. No he popped a squat and rolled prime on his back and while still squatting he used a nuclear pulse. You a normal human can do the same thing with someone much larger than you. It's no different then when godzilla shoved ghidorah and people saying he threw him. He did not. If you grab someone in a fight and use your body weight to shove them a little does that mean you threw them? No. People blow these things out of proportion and that's why powerscalers are stupid losers who latch onto anything and blow it up with fanon numbers
It was the biggest thing that bugged me about Monarch Legacy of Monsters On top of the fact the writing for the mystery plot is terrible, there isn't any reveals that lead back to their findings at all they just get sidetracked again and again until they accidentally find the grandma still alive. And there's barely anything to discover about the Titans, the only aspect I like was the first contacts with Godzilla and how he basically came back to save them, but those are super brief
I think we're overlooking another titan being render non canon by Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and that's Shinomura. That titan was featured in the prequel comic to the 2014 Godzilla movie, though that was kina non canon because the fact the movie showed nothing of the titan, let alone the whole Lucky Dragon event was rectonned in the show as well.
Than I want to ask why is Dagon the one that everybody keeps mentioning about who fought with mute prime if the event of muto prime vs Godzilla happened in the aftershock of Godzilla vs muto
First season should have definitely been based on Godzilla and MUTO Prime fighting after the events of 2014, rather than what we got, that should have been season 2.
I'm going to be honest, after finishing watching the series I still believe that only the comic Godzilla Awakening stopped being Canon, because before the same series came out the comic already showed many inconsistencies and contradictions with the story of the Monsterverse and it was very obviously that it should not belong to the chronology of the Monsterverse, however the rest of the comics continue to be part of the history of this universe, since it must be taken into account that the fight that Godzilla had with Muto Prime, occurred months later of the battle in San Francisco that is, in 2014 and the series is set from 2015 to 2017, also if Godzilla aftershock was not canon then where would the past of the main characters of KOM be told before the movie, the change of the Godzilla's dorsal plates, Dagon's past, the cause of the birth of the Mutos in 2014, and most importantly, where the hell would they get the origin of the creation of the ORCA device, and in case they didn't know, the places in where Godzilla and Muto Prime faced each other, they were isolated, there were almost no people, they were very far from civilization, including the sea and the mountains, and finally a simple visual effects and CGI worker does not have the right or the power to change the chronology of a story and invent that two weak Mutos and a giant building broke Godzilla's old dorsal plates, or say that they grew just because, since that would be begging and fucking stupidity
nice video goji center, well i have a video request cuz alot of people have been arguing from who would win between full power godzilla or mechagodzilla
If Muto Prime is ultimately rendered non canon, there's still one plausible explanation for Godzilla's change in dorsal plates. At the end of Godzilla 2014, the military attempted to detonate a nuke to kill Godzilla and the Mutos. While the denotation occurred miles away, it's possible Godzilla went to the denotation site to absorb the remaining radiation. This energy would allow Godzilla to grow, explaining his larger size at the beginning of KOTM (before he took the smaller nuke to the face). Just a possibility
You talk about the dorsal plates and how they evolved from 2014 to the show. Good question that I did not notice, do his plates look preevolved in the flashbacks of Monarch LOM? If they don’t you can write off that. You had one clip I noticed where he was in the water swimming and that was from an episode back with the Drs and Army guy.
Hay goji could you please make a video to see who would win in a fight between Godzilla and the adult skullcrawler please.I would really appreciate it if you did.please and thank you
Im honestly sad that Shinomura isn't cannon at all anymore. Prime is still cannon though because in an interview, Greg Keith said the novels are more important and significant to the lore than the show, but that makes me wonder if Shinomura is still cannon since it came from a comic
The dorsal plates also look different from the KOTM plates so maybe he was able to grow short term replacements for the plates while it generated the better ones.
Is it just me, or does Muto Prime give off strong Megalon vibes, I mean think about, both are large brown bug like kaiju with incredible burrowing abilities, now I'm not saying he was inspired by or based on Megalon 150%, I just think it's interesting how similar they seem at a glance, and honestly it makes me want to see the Muto Prime return

2) I don't own a car...HA >:D
That sounds real cool, although I’m pretty sure king Titan would have a massive melee advantage-
yea lol@@legosmeons8185
@@legosmeons8185 yeah lol
Hello gojicenter do you think you can do if rudy from ice age 3 can go into the jurassic park and world.dominion if possible
Why did this video get reuploaded
Hollywood writers are getting lazy, waving off continuity errors with a "meh"
They don't understand how much this drives sci-fi lore nerds INSANE....
“Subscribe or Godzilla will eat your car.”
In that case I must inform you that I don’t own a car lol. :p
“Ready to shop?”
Uhh what happened I swear I already watched this like 2 hours ago did it get re-uploaded?
That’s what I’m saying
Yeah I think
My 3rd fav titan from the ones introduced in KOTM
After Behemoth and Methuselah
Keep up the content I love it
Ha jokes on you i don't have a car😂
They need to fix this. There's a chance to keep the comics canon. Just because it hasn't been mentioned, it doesn’t mean it never existed. They have time.
I really dislike when movies don't see and reference book, novel, and cartoons. Only treat the movies as canon, I hate it when that happen. I have the book Godzilla: Aftershock and I really enjoyed it.
0:20 Godzilla actually feeds on ☢️Radioactive ☢️
We can't forget that the first G ate a train!
The 1954 Godzilla be like: this is good shit tasting Soo fucking good
Goji center goated🗣️💯🔉
The way i think its Canon because godzilla aftershock did happen but since all of the emerging activities from the kaijus made monarch hide the evidence like what they did to male muto thay said it was an "earthquake"
One thing that I dislike about the legacy of Monster, is that they retcon Muto Prime and Shinomura. Then what? will they retcon camazots too?
I think this was an issue that Monarch Legacy of Monsters was being recorded when the comic was being made and most likely started its production before the comic so this may have been missed
Would love to see the mutos return. Maybe even see a prime again, or at least see the fight between prime and Godzilla onscreen rather than just from the comic.
What if he was so much of a chaotic force the government had to cover him up since the public didn’t want to know of more Mutos
Love your videos as usual! Can we get a video about would happen if white spikes from tomorrow war invaded Skull Island? Or if white spikes invaded attack on titan during the rumbling?
Monarch legacy of monsters also ignores Godzilla awakening it seems
Tbh they were never gonna keep up with the comics in the films. No way are they gonna factor in these major events that only a tiny percentage of the audience will be aware of.
2 uploads in one day. goji center is oddly active..
Hey a goji center I can't help but notice that you never did episodes 3 and 4 for 10 ways to die in peter Jackson's skull Island
The fact goji center did an oopsie and made this video for the members only
Hopefully, there's a way to contact the creators of the show
" Subscribe or Goji gonna eat ur car"
Me with no car: haha nice joke
It was the biggest thing that bugged me about Monarch Legacy of Monsters
On top of the fact the writing for the mystery plot is terrible, there isn't any reveals that lead back to their findings at all they just get sidetracked again and again until they accidentally find the grandma still alive.
We need legacy of monsters to delve into Muto prime and maybe make an episode recapping the Godzilla Vs. Muto Prime fight
Supersonic vs Godzilla. I'll be waiting all the time it takes to.
Oshea Jackson JR’s character’s name is Barnes as well is this Barnes character is the Monarch show his wife or sister
I'm going to be honest, after finishing watching the series I still believe that only the comic Godzilla Awakening stopped being Canon, because before the same series came out the comic already showed many inconsistencies and contradictions with the story of the Monsterverse and it was very obviously that it should not belong to the chronology of the Monsterverse, however the rest of the comics continue to be part of the history of this universe, since it must be taken into account that the fight that Godzilla had with Muto Prime, occurred months later of the battle in San Francisco that is, in 2014 and the series is set from 2015 to 2017, also if Godzilla aftershock was not canon then where would the past of the main characters of KOM be told before the movie, the change of the Godzilla's dorsal plates, Dagon's past, the cause of the birth of the Mutos in 2014, and most importantly, where the hell would they get the origin of the creation of the ORCA device, and in case they didn't know, the places in where Godzilla and Muto Prime faced each other, they were isolated, there were almost no people, they were very far from civilization, including the sea and the mountains, and finally a simple visual effects and CGI worker does not have the right or the power to change the chronology of a story and invent that two weak Mutos and a giant building broke Godzilla's old dorsal plates, or say that they grew just because, since that would be begging and fucking stupidity
nice video goji center, well i have a video request cuz alot of people have been arguing from who would win between full power godzilla or mechagodzilla
if you look at the back of the book you will see they classified a lot of muto prime activity
Always got to remember this is the monsterverse the directors probably haven’t read the comics
Two of the same videos ?? Confused here.
This has the same energy as that one game theory where they claim Golden Freddy isn't real
Hay goji could you please make a video to see who would win in a fight between Godzilla and the adult skullcrawler please.I would really appreciate it if you did.please and thank you
Where’s the “Is this your first time meme” when you need it
Im honestly sad that Shinomura isn't cannon at all anymore.
Aftershock happened in 2015 which few by while they were in that hallow earth area 2 days was 2 Years on the surface
2016*
I don’t care what happens in the future in my head MUTO prime will always be cannon
3:11 THE GOLDEN QUOTE
It would be cool if they kind of retconned the comic a little bit so that it can happen more so in the future and we can get a movie about muto prime
Goji center please make a breakdown for the gxk trailer 2 Godzilla got nuclear pulse like heisei godzilla
