I have thanked Chris for his determination and for sticking with it. I didn't realize how much Adam was a driving force. THANK YOU Adam for putting in all the research and hard work. SO glad it paid off.
And here I thought that Adam was the quiet one, and mainly was focused on the percussion. Boy what a surprise, that he has been a semi pack leader, or the sheepdog, who was hearding his little flock forward. In the depths of the still waters. Glad he still is a front figure in HF, and don't think HF would be the same whithout him. And yes, even that I love Chance and what he gives to the group, I still sometimes miss Chris. Love this sessions, where we can hear the backstory.
Chris, thank you so much for putting this together with Adam and Matt. Such great stories and love hearing Adam talk so much! lol. You will always be the founders and you are definitely part of the Home Free family to all of us fans!! Take care.
Chris, and the current Home Frees' work ethic and determination, especially Adam's is so inspiring. I have so much respect for Adam and how much hard work he put into making Home Free happen and learning to do the beat boxing because that's what was needed. They deserve every good thing and all the fan love that comes their way because they earned it!! And the best part is they haven't become self important "big shot" celebrities. They remain humble and appreciative of their fans. It's why we love them so much.
I chuckled a little towards the last half when I had turned my captions on after one of the mics went out, and someone mentioned “Home Free” and the caption showed it as “Humphrey”! LOL Flashback to the Warmest Winter Special with the t-shirts! LOL Anyway, this was very informative again! Adam is so animated telling parts of this. Thank you, Chris, for putting this together! Can’t wait for part 3! Thank you, also, for starting the group with Adam and Matt!
Bless you Chris, (and Adam) you are a very special kind of man and it has been an indescribable pleasure and privilege to hear the work of your heart and soul. May love, success, happiness and fortune pursue you for all of your life and you never tire of the chase.
Wow, I love hearing your backstory! I always knew how hard Chris worked on getting the group to a point where they were successful but had no idea how much Adam did as well. Good job to all of you for sticking through the tough times. All of us Home Fries can't thank you enough!
I really enjoy watching these videos who knew Adam was such a driving force in the group he seems so quiet and payed back I’m looking forward to the next one 😃
Thank you all for your perseverance and sacrifices from a grateful Home Fry! Your music has brought me joy and healing since I first heard Movin On last winter. I have smiled more this year than I ever have thanks to the entire Home Free family and crew! Hearing Cold Hard Cash, Do You Hear What I Hear 🔥 (my favorite cover of all time) and Adam’s solo during my first Home Free concert were my favorite live moments I have ever heard! What We Are Thinking While Were Singing is a Home Free bit I enjoy a lot, I love the humorous side! 😂. The videos like my #1 comedy Full of Cheer are priceless! My other favorite is the tenors telling Tim to get out of their range and go back to the basement. 😊 I miss the fun skits. Milk bone is one of my favorite clips on the Internet!
I really appreciate the hard work ethic you guys had & not giving up. Sounds like it was not always easy or pleasant at the beginning. I love finding out that Adam had such a big part in getting you guys exposure to different venues when you were starting out. I am so glad your persistence paid off to where you are today. Home Free is now well known around the world & has a huge fan base.
Im very happy to see and hear Matt Atwood. I honestly love him in the 2 live concerts of Home Frees some years ago on RUclips...he has such an amazing sense of humor. And wow! Hearing Adam explain and tell stories is very nice!!!
Thank you for filming and editing and sharing all this! I love learning so much about the history of Home Free. Plus it's fun listening to you guys talking.
This is fascinating! The work you put into this is incredible. All that plugging away Adam was doing must have been soul destroying, but in this episode we're seeing it start to pay off. The work and dedication you have shown over the years is just - well, it's a great example of working towards your dreams, and earning every reward and compliment you get. I am genuinely in awe of you.
Oh Man, I am loving this series! I can't wait until the next episode! Thanks for doing this Chris, Adam & Matt!! I can't wait to hear the stories on Tim!! Much Love from British Columbia, Canada!
I’m a die hard Home free fan my dad introduced me to the band and I fell In love I now know more about the band than my dad. Home free was also the first ever concert I’ve been to so I will forever Remember them
I live only 30-40 minutes from Westbrook, MN and my husband has family there!!!! So cool to see at least my area on the map! I love hearing about the history and am so impressed on how you stuck with it when a lot of people would have given up.
Love getting such a deep look at the background of Home Free. Only thing that would make it better is if there was at least a year given to reference when some of the things happened.
This is awesome! I love hearing these stories of the beginning of Home Free. All of that hard work and drive to make it happen definitely paid off in the long run. Thanks, Chris! I can't wait for the next episode! 😊
Thanks for doing this. So very happy that y'all had the fortitude and confidence to stick it out. A world without Home Free in my life would not be as great a world. HF has positively influence so many lives. Thank you. Looking forward to Winnie TX.
It's so cool hearing the back stories of how the group got going.. You Rupp guys really did a lot to get it going.. Thanks to both of you for that because I have really enjoyed Home Free for many years..
I loved this! it's so neat to learn about Home Free's history! Thank you for sharing all the trials and tribulations of the early years, and Thank You all for having so much faith in yourselves so that we all now have Home Free and all the joy that they bring to all of us! Chris, I really love your music, especially the original songs that you do.
Just want to say my sister was in the MN allstate choir when you preformed at their week long summer camp (I think 2009?). She brought home your CD (one of those "not available" ones) and my whole family fell in love. I could sing every song by heart! We never could find anything more about you guys though, until suddenly Home Free popped up with the sing off. Long long time fan. So fun to finally hear the whole back story!
I like all of Home Free’s new/newer stuff, but I think Kickin It Old School is still my favorite album. I love singing the lead on Under the Boardwalk with Matt and then singing the lead (mostly) on King of the Road with Elliot.
Appreciate you sharing all of this. I had no idea that you guys weren’t focused on country music from the start, nor that you didn’t have any Tim or Rob from the start (or near the start). Can’t wait to hear more.
I heard Home Free was sad when Chris Rupp Adam Rupp's Brother Got off the stage he said it is he's last performance with Home Free After Chris left Chance replaced Chris truly he left Street Corner Symphony to join Home Free I Love You Chris be focusing on home Free and cypress fyre trio focus also on groups like pentatonix too and eliott Robinson and more I love you Chris Rupp focus Also on yourself making a quartet love from tretavian ziano plaatjies I love you Chris Rupp
I am a long-time fan but rarely comment. I just wanted to take a minute to say how much I am enjoying this series. I had major surgery about a month ago and am pretty much on bed rest til some physical therapy can be arranged. These videos have been like visits with friends. Looking forward to #3.
Thanks for sharing the early history. Tonic Sol Fa and The Blenders were a big deal when I was younger, but so was Go Fish (in the SW MN, NW IA area). Were you familiar with their band at all?
Gud grief U Rupp Brothers R a tenacious & determined pair Rn't U? Talk about a dog with a bone & not letting it go until U get want U want wotever the cost. Gud on U, BOTH of U 🙂

You heard me!!! Well, probably everyone asked for this. Thanky muchly. Now, when’s episode 3 coming? 😏 Not greedy much.
Musical pros and you didn’t mic yourselves individually? 🤷🏻♂️
Been enjoying rediscovering the band with my earbuds in. Wow. The nuances are lovely.

There's gonna be 6 total, over the next few months!
@@ChrisRuppOfficialThat's great. Looking forward to them!
Is it my phone or does the video have a little echo? Just need to know if it's my phone.
It's probably the video, we had to do a lot of audio editing to cut out the ventilation noise which makes it sound a little weird

Way to End it Dangling And Now we Need a New Bass a Tim ...Cut .....
Do you guys do your arrangements?
Back in the day I did most of them, Tim did a few - since I left in 2016 the band mostly has Darren Rust, their producer, do them now.
Yo guys is Fred a creeper?
I'd say so, could be a bot or just a dodgy person, but either way I wish there was a way of blocking him.
