If you want to see them live you will have plenty of opportunities. They tour more than most bands and have probably been to Germany every year the last 10 years. I would recommend Retrospection, a song that doesn't get enough air time, but as everything Jinjer, it's solid gold. And you get to see some backstage stuff and pictures of the band members when they were very young.

There are several female vocalists who can growl, but for me personally, Tati is the best because I love the tone of her growls, and the different types of screams she has, plus she has a beautiful clean singing voice as well. It's funny because I've never liked harsh vocals at all, still don't actually, but when I first heard Jinjer I was immediately hooked because of thier incredible complex playing style and Tati's vocals. I had the pleasure of seeing and meeting Jinjer this past October in Los Angeles. The concert was pure 🔥🔥 and Tati, Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar), and Vlad (drums) were so down to earth, humble, friendly, and just kind people. Seeing them live was incredible, and yes Tati does sound exactly like this, she is tiny, she is around 5'3 or so, but that voice makes her seem like she's 10' feet tall LOL. 😄😄 Continued success on your new channel, hopefully you'll react to more Jinjer, and as always, stay Metal young lady. 😊😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶

Melissa Boney is 2nd only to Tatiana (Jinjer) and has a band called Ad Infinitium and was previously in Rage of Light as well. There are girls who growl all the time, but these are two who have wonderful singing voices when they aren't growling. Enjoy both!

Purr-N-E-L Tatiana used to have long dreadlocks for many, many years. I could be wrong but I think when she decided to change from the dreadlocks she cut her hair short so it could grow out properly.

Great reaction, and energy! Jinjer is phenomenal, and Tati is the Queen of the genre (IMO). A technique she is using is called Fry Screaming, and believe it or not, you too can produce those sounds. There are a lot of videos on youtube teaching you how to utilize your voice. Give it a shot! YOU could be the next artist blowing up :D
Tati uses False Chords, you can tell because fry screams tends to be more high pitch in terms of treble, while false chord is lower in pitch, but fry screams are definitely simpler than false chords, it's easier to learn at first

Apparently Wacken is a small town NorthWest of Hamburg. I don't think there's much going on there the rest of the year, but it says they will be doing the Open Air festival again this August. Not sure if they'll be there, but Jinjer tours pretty much constantly, so probably. I also prefer the long hair. She had dreads years ago, but I like it better this way.

There are waaaay more women using growling techniques than I could list. Kittie was an all female band in the late 90s that was the first to get a record deal a woman doing growls, using a mix of growls and cleans. In the early 2000s Tatiana heard Otep Shamaya of the band Otep and thought it was a guy. Then she was shocked when her friend told her no, Otep is a woman, which inspired Tatiana's journey - Ghostflowers live from the Confrontation DVD is a great starting place (she also does voiceover work for monsters in movies and games, incidentally). Courtney LePlante of Spiritbox is a friend of Tatiana's and they are a great, with Rule Of Nines one take vocal performance being a good starting point. Swiss singer Melissa Bonny of Ad Infinitum uses growls in some of her songs - for example Marching On Versailles. Lena from the Moldovan band Infected Rain is another friend of Tatiana's and Orphan Soul is a great starting place. Angela Gossow the former singer for Arch Enemy is German and started performing with growls at about the same time as Otep, ca. 2000. Nemesis live in Tokyo from 2008 or We Will Rise MFVF 2010 are good options to hear and see what Angela does on stage. Angela still manages AE along with half a dozen other metal bands, but stepped back from the mic for work-life balance reasons Alissa White-Gluz the current singer of AE is great too but with a different vocal style - false cord growls for Angela and fry screams for Alissa, though starting in 2017 Alissa sounds like she has added false cord growls to her repetoire. If you'd like to compare the two different styles before Alissa started adding false cord growls, Nemisis live at Wacken 2016 is great - fry screams aren't a brutal but it is easier to use them more flexibly compared to false cord growls, wheras getting the flexibility Tatiana gets with her false cord growls takes a lot more effort, while being able to do both as Alissa now does gives even more options. Unfortunately AE's thing is all growls, so even though Alissa has a great singing voice she doesn't get to use those abilities much in AE). Even Floor Jansen of Nightwish can do growls at least a bit, though in her case I suspect it is more a matter of her having such consumate vocal skills that she can do growls too, which is also how male growler Randy Blythe of Lamb of God who heavily influenced Tatiana's growling style got started, before digging deep into the technique and making a living using it.

Spiritbox (vocalist Courtney LePlante) is probably the best comparison because Courtney is such an excellent clean singer & "screamer". As Mr. Fisher mentioned, Rule Of Nines one take vocal performance is a good place to start.
You should react to their live performances of outlander, and who is gunna be the one. And as far as other bands/female singers like Tatiana you should check out a band called Spiritbox, specifically their songs “holy roller”, “circle with me, “rule of nines”.
Jinjer is currently in the line up for Summer Breeze (Dinkelsbühl) 2022. I'll definitely see them at Summer breeze. Other female fronted metal bands are for example Arch Enemy, Spirit Box, Infected Rain or Vintersea.
The original female growler (for me, there were probably other women doing it in the underground) was Angela Gossow with Arch Enemy. Check out their live performance of "we will rise" in Japan.

I feel JinJer gets better with every album and they have been great for awhile. I was able to catch them live once and they live up to the hype and their professional and humble attitude.

Yes, her friend Lena also does this with her voice. She is also very beautiful. Lena sings for the band Infected Rain. Check out their video for "At the Bottom of the Bottle". You may want to check out a band called Nightwish from the same venue in 2013....the lead singer only growls a tiny bit in one of the songs but they are amazing. Most reactors start with the song "Ghost Love Score"....you can hear their lead singer growl in a song called "Yours is an Empty Hope" from other venues

Pretty sure Wacken Open Air is sold out this year(since 2020 because of the worldwide problem). If you live in west Germany you could look at festivals in Belgium, France, Netherlands. But yeah for metal and rock Wacken is number one.

Jinjer is currently in the line up for Summer Breeze (Dinkelsbühl) 2022. I'll definitely see them at Summer breeze. Other female fronted metal bands are for example Arch Enemy, Spirit Box, Infected Rain or Vintersea.

Agree!! I live her long hair much better. Not a fan of short hair. She also has many more tattoos in this performance than she does in "Pisces". If you want to see the rest of her tats, check out Jinjer "Prophecy" where she is in full party mode!

Wacken Open Air is biggest metal festival and if you want go there you must be very fast or have good connections cause tickets sales in like minutes when they get released

I feel JinJer gets better with every album and they have been great for awhile. I was able to catch them live once and they live up to the hype and their professional and humble attitude.

Apart from Spiritbox (and others...) there`s a singer from Moldova, Lena Scissorhands. She has fantastic songs with her band "Infected Rain" like "Orphan Child", "The Earth Mantra" or "Taphephobia"and she features in a band "Seas on the Moon": "Sanctuary" or "Another" would be very nice choices! 😊🤘

Yes, her friend Lena also does this with her voice. She is also very beautiful. Lena sings for the band Infected Rain. Check out their video for "At the Bottom of the Bottle".
Also the girls who call themselves Butcher Babies do it with their voice. They are actual models who enjoy extreme vocals like this. They have a video called "Monsters Ball"

You may want to check out a band called Nightwish from the same venue in 2013....the lead singer only growls a tiny bit in one of the songs but they are amazing. Most reactors start with the song "Ghost Love Score"....you can hear their lead singer growl in a song called "Yours is an Empty Hope" from other venues

Pretty sure Wacken Open Air is sold out this year(since 2020 because of the worldwide problem). If you live in west Germany you could look at festivals in Belgium, France, Netherlands. But yeah for metal and rock Wacken is number one.
