Nice one Sean, I’ve been using all the items in the vid for years and you coved all the ins and outs extremely well for anybody thinking of setting them selfs up.
Hey Jim! Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you liked the video and I'm thrilled I covered everything. I tried to do all the important bits! Hopefully people are inspired to try it out themselves!
Oh man! Your bent lamination game had just leveled up. Can't wait to see the what creations you come up with. All also, that bed you showed was crazy cool!
Sean you are setting yourself up to make items of many different angles and bends, which seems to be your bread and butter. Just to boast myself, I just bought a WL-46A - Electronic Variable Speed Wood Lathe, with a 462mm swing over the bed, so I couldn’t be happier 😁😁😁😁. Can’t wait to see what your next project is. I really need to start videoing myself, but I don’t think anyone would learn much from me LOL. Anyway, I am looking forward to your next video, and itching to see your tv series in a few days. Take care, Sean
HI Sean, Thanks for watching and commenting again! Congratulations on your lathe, now you can try some segmented projects! I've got an exciting chair build coming soon! You should definitely start a channel, it's a lot of fun! Let me know if you do!
I have used one of these bag presses for years and what I have found useful to do is have a base board in the bag with a series of very small grooves cut into it. They need to criss cross the base board, this will help with the even removal of the air inside the bag, thus making the bag work more efficiently and suck down better and even to the surface.
Great set up video Sean, I got mine a few years ago but I haven’t found the right project to use it on. I’m excited to see what you make with yours, I might find some inspiration!
Wow just discovered this very cool channel, I have just started a channel and going on my own veneering journey, will look forward to working my way through your videos 👍
Ooh...now that looks like a very useful but of kit Sean.... I think you’re going to need a bigger work surface though, that bag looked BIG... Looking forward to seeing the kit in action...👍🏻
Very nice! The lignum RUclips channel is the only other place I've seen one of them glue spreaders. He does a lot of large scale laminating work. Any upcoming larger scale lamination projects?
Hey mate! Oh yes, I've seen him use it. Most woodworkers I know use it, quite a valuable tool to have! Yes I have a chair build coming soon with a complex back! I'm looking forward to showing you!
Hi Sean I have this equipment. I am disappointed at no response to my last offer to help a budding apprentice in my workshop. I appreciate you pinned my comment though.
Hi Chris, thanks for watching again. Yes that is a shame, I did post it on my old woodwork course group chat. But sadly no one as able to take up the offer. I would recommend posting on woodwork facebook groups or even emailing furniture schools in your area saying you have a workshop available! Hope that helps

Thanks Lucy! I have a lot of curvy projects to come! Yeah that bed is amazing, It's designed by an Irish designer maker called 'Joseph Walsh'

Thank you very much Tony! Glad you found it helpful!

HI Gary! I agree I've seen them being used before, they look really helpful! I will definitely be making myself one!

Hi Stuart! Yeah they are! You're exactly right, my workbench is quite small, I would like an assembly table the size of a full sheet of plywood!
