my E300 2016 the cooling fan just had shut down and i replace it with other then work for a while then again shut down, at the first place i checked it by the computer & it shows that there is a shortage in circuit, do you think its about fuse?
It has more than two meanings. 1. Radiator clogged, 2. Radiator cap damaged, 3. Thermostat damaged, 4. Pipes which connected to radiator damaged.
When I disconnect the fan somehow the ecu we’re able to read system but when plug in it, it can’t. Does it indicate the ecu is still good? And the main problem is a broken radiator fan is the issue? Thanks!
I have a cls 550 What about if if fans turn on high automatically high when I start the car and stays on high.I put coolant in to see if the problem bc light came on saying top off I did that but it’s still running high fans so idk it’s so anoyying to hear high fans 🤦🏾♂️
Hello, I am writing from Turkey. No Master understood. I am stuck like that. When my C 200 5 2017 model vehicle is parked, the radiator fan runs non-stop. It does not stop until the battery is drained. Is there anyone or both about this? Can you please get back to me?
Hi I'm trying to separate the fan from the motor like you show in your video but when I took off the 3 torx screws the fan was still stuck on there good didn't wanna damage it could you tell me if it's just a few push clips holding it in or is there more too it thanks

My c300 fan is working when the engine is off
Great video, and now I have a better understanding I have an 03 s430 the low coolant light appeared on my dash even tho the coolant was not low, so I went forward replacing the reservoir with a new level sensor thinking the level sensor was the culprit, it makes sense as soon as I figure that did nothing I noticed my A/c was blowing cold intermittent, when before when I ran the a/c I would hear the loud roaring fans, and then while thinking the free on was low as the car sat stationary running attempting to put free on the car blew the upper radiator hose and luckily the tech noticed it shut off the car before it got to hot, they tested the fan and said it's not powering, I know it's a complex system, in your knowledge do you think that the fan is the main issue?
Thanks for watching my video and your kind comment! For a car that old, you have to decide on how much you love it. As a minimum, I would replace all the coolant hoses and the water pump. If a tech said the fan was not powering, you will need a new one. If after you replace all of the above you are still not getting cold air, it is probably a new compressor that is needed and the A/C hoses might be suspect as well. i get the error code p048300 and when i start the A/C the fan is comming after 5-10 seconds. what i must replace ? i get the coolant message in the color white not red : /

Hey I have the same car and my fan comes on extremely high now when the ac is turned on. Sounds like an airplane. Could my fan be bad or the relay? There is also a high pitched tea kettle noise not sure if that’s fan or bearing related or if it’s something else. And the engine bay is extremely hot but the engine is at normal running temps.

my C200 W204 fan runs when the temperature reaches 90 deg C or switch ON the AC. But afterward, the FAN NEVER STOP spinning, only speed varies from low to high speed. Is it normal?
Thanks for watching my video! Yes, I would say it is normal. The fan will always come on when you switch on the AC. If you don't have the AC on, it will be activated by the engine temperature reaching a certain a point (yours is apparently 90 C). You may like my other videos. @@tserevenad Nope, the mb belonged to a friend of mine who I haven't talked with recently, so I don't really know the outcome. We were able to find a code # 1419 which I think is the a/c clutch, but I would definitely try adding refrigerant first

The cooling fan only works when ac on.., without turning the ac. The fan does not work, and the oil and water temperature rises. For long time I didn't hear the fan works on high speed since i changed the engine..my car c63 2010 What is the problem in your opinion?
Thanks for watching my video! All my comments only refer to my 2010 E 550, but I would think they are similar (due to the year). As my video shows, the fan will come on (always) with the A/C turned on (after a small delay). The next condition is when the car engine heat gets above 95 degrees C. If you have no fan with either your A/C on or above 95 C, you have a problem. I would suspect it is the fan. Best to take it to a Mercedes repair location because they will have the diagnostic tools to locate the problem quickly. DO NOT drive the car with the engine overheated.!! Engines are very expensive. try to turn the AC on, in few minute the fan will be on, do this just to test the fan system

I have 09 e350, start the engine and idle for over 30 mins, the fan never turned on because the temp didn't reach up to 95 degree. But when you turn on the ac, the fan will kick in within a few mins. I think because when you cold start, the thermostat will be on within 10 to 15 mins to cool down the engine temp and stays under 85 degree so it don't need the fan in that temp range.
