Just wondering here, how many local tradesmen or apprentices will be hired for any present or future projects in Jamaica.
Do the various ministries care about making the youths more employable by giving them incentives and training in specialized skills making them more employable.
Just a foot note, internationally, fun facts here, there are hundreds of thousands of Jamaicans who are outstanding, welders, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, millwrights etc, educate our youngsters

@Max-Cder There is HART where young people are PAID to get training and certified. They get substantial stipends for traveling and lunch. They will receive over $100,000 to buy tools. Furthermore young people are being employed as we speak. Please try and see the positive things that this government is doing for the young people, but it is up to them to take advantage of those benefits.

All I'm saying is that the training(s) should be in fields that are high paying,in demand and could make our youngsters very competitive locally and internationally.
I hope the training you mentioned are not no tailor ing, dressmaking, nor no server in the hotels,or no vloggers.
      It's the 21st century people, education,and a skill is "where it's at " .

@Max-Cder It probably will help you too. No one should be spoon feeding anyone, there are plenty programs available for young people but some prefer scamming and free money.

You should try and find out what is going. Instead of listening to negative comments from ignorant people and people who are
Making false news and deliberately ignoring the many positive things that going on in Jamaica.
All those things that you mentioned. The government at least Andrew holnes is aware and making plans.
Training thousand of young people. It's now even free
6 stems academy is in the Making thousand of advanced coders are being trained. Jamaica is doing fine. And most of these things are being paid for by the government with out IMF or world Bank.
While other countries are going through financial hardship. So just imagine when the 7billon barrel of oil 🛢 starts flowing. That has just been confirmed. Jamaica will be back to the level it was. Ahead of Singapore in the 60s
