It was 70% not 50% in maths requirements for CS when I first registered in 2020... unless they changed it...And you saved your life from Physics I also switched it to CS...PHY1004W is the most difficult course in 1st year level at UCT, MAM1000W is nothing... I was also very good in it in high school I got over 90% but my first test I got 26%💔😭😭😭

To be honest nothing worthwhile is easy but hard doesn't mean it is impossible . I had zero experience in coding but I'm doing it because i have passion for it . You can do it 😊😊

Can I ask ,what if I didn't reach the minimum requirements in Grade 11 n applied with that report then got a minimum of 75% on final year (matric) ..would they accept me?
So how Universities work is they give out conditional acceptances before the final exam marks are out . So If you didn't do well in grade 11 then I think you can redeem yourself with grade 12 term one and use that report to apply instead

You will do CS courses however you will all be exposed to accounting , financial analysis and financial management. Its a nice intersection between CompSci and Commerce subjects
