I know this one is quite a bit longer than highlights I have done recently. I've never put a set time on the highlights while editing them, but I would feel uncomfortable when they are more than 40% the length of the full show, since I feel like I'm just reuploading the podcasts. I was very uncomfortable when the "AH does Maths" video got so many views, because I feel like I'm taking money away from them (I don't monetize videos, but I could be taking away potential viewers from the proper podcasts by uploading large clips) What I'm trying to say is that I don't want these highlights to become a replacement for people watching/listening to the podcast. If you don't already, go over and give the full podcast a like or something. I'm glad that people enjoy watching these but don't forget where the source is!

Just read the description. I only speak for myself, but I either watch Off Topic live or listen to it on Saturday, and this is something I watch to remember the best parts of it, mostly because its usually over 2 hours, and 30 minutes is a little more watchable.

About your description, I totally understand where you're coming from but I don't usually have the time/attention span to go through a full podcast so I always enjoy these, plus I watch all their other stuff on the site anyways and am a first member so if I were you I wouldn't feel to bad about it
Also if anything though i dont have the time to watch the whole thing anymore, upon seeing the AH math segment i HAD to see more context , so they got my view for that atleast

if it makes you feel any better aidansaylche i always watch off topic. I love these highlights though because then i can show my fiance and my best friend the best bits since they arent big fans of podcasts so we can still laugh at all the fun stuff. But ill tell you, the highlights are best so I can go back and re watch all the really funny parts months down the line once i have forgotten them from watching the original episode.
