You're right, sound can't travel through space because it needs something like air or water. But the Sun does give off light and radio waves. Like you said, we can turn the Sun's vibrations, which move through its plasma, into sounds we can hear with special tools. So, even though we can't hear the Sun directly, we can listen to its activity in a different way.
The sun almost certainly makes noise. But it's the reasons you state why it can't be heard. There's no medium for the sound to travel through. But the massive chaos and power happening on and within the sun is probably seriously loud
If there were something to propagate the sound in space, we would most certainly hear it. in fact it would be as loud as a jackhammer if said jackhammer was only one meter away. it would be VERY loud. upwards of around 100 decibels
this happens because the moons orbit tugs on the earth, increasing the moon speed and reducing the earths. thats why the moon is going to leave us in like a kajillion years or somth
Im sorry but the sun cant posdibly make a sound since it is in a vacume. But it emits light that like radio signals can be turned to sound.
