I remember you were concerned about bringing in another emu because they aren't always sweet and loving, but you hit the jackpot and I'm sure Nugget is enjoying the friendship-- I mean-- it's obvious and precious. I hated salad as a kid but came to enjoy it in my late teens and have been growing salad greens all winter for decades. So glad you got the last of the fence pulled for this year. Watching their legs appear out of the water was a treat - stretching out enjoying themselves knowing they are safe, loved and in their forever home. Yay for a well-deserved break from fencing! When I was a kid I didn't like mushrooms, avocado, or Lima beans. But that has all changed due to my husband. Now I just love them..
