    didn't know tai er food looks this good. never had it but was wondering why my friend wanted to eat when i saw the reviews looked ok. anw have been to a couple of places where the actual taste definitely didnt not match the reviews. definitely deserved more

      I think one thing tai er, with their many outlets, is able to promise would be consistency since most of the stuff are prepared in a central kitchen.
      That said I personally prefer their sister brand “beautiful Lai grilled fish” that specializes in chongqing grilled fish.

    lucky you say you did over 2 days, cuz that was a ton of food for 1 day lol

      lol nolah the tai er meal was shared with 2 others so actually still doable. Especially since we did some rollerblading afterwards

      Wah that is a challenge! I don’t eat supper that much myself but maybe I can figure out places that operate till late 👍

    Very good day tour in this area; just wondering Suan Cai Yu is popular in Singapore.

      yes indeed! we're lucky it didn't rain during our visit like recent days.
      From my point of view, I don't think suan cai yu is that popular compared to the likes of mala hotpot or chongqing grilled fish, but I'd attribute that to the fact that those dishes became commonly available in Singapore first.
