So good to see Brian back, he really keeps bridger on point, and I such a good sport. This was his game to win or lose and he gave bridger more than plenty of guidance for tactics👏👏
What strat allows you to observe a second time? Coordinate to engage is the observing unit can shoot the spotted unit with +1 to B's not observeagain.. only Pathfinders can observe twice due to their unit ability
destroyer missles are no longer the same as previous editions. nowadays its 1 shot per turn and they dont run out. they also have there own statline etc
Great battle report. Turn 2 Crisis CIB overcharge made a good case against CIBs. CIBs are so good you still have to take some but I think less than max CIB is optimal over the whole game.
Hope you will recover quick from your illness Bridger (by the time I'm watching this, you are probably all good now ;) ). Great fun watching Brian fumbling all these dice for the Cyclic Ion blasters... Get him a bucket LOL !
Yes, both units can shoot, The spotter doesn't get any hit modifiers but the guided unit gets improved BS to that target but reduced BS vs any target other than the focused target.
Roll 3 at a time as each model has 3 guns and each crisis suit could take 3 1s of those 21 so roll for each suit also twin burst cannon are 4 shots with reroll That would be insane if the way twinlnk weapons did not change xD I like to think it fires once and they second one spins up on wounds
That's an interesting idea on CIB overheats however it's against the rules which specifically says you roll for all overheats at once after the unit shoots. GW likely wanted to remove odd wounds being on individual suits, eg. you could have 4 wounded suits that still get to fire at full effect rather than 2 suits dead. It also reduces booking keeping as only one model in the unit will have wounds on it.
Consolditation into objective or combat is not a choice you have to got into combat first if possible. Look it up. tell me if im wrong but im pretty sure im not.
I really wanted the barges also! The other team was worried the list was underpowered and it would make the game less interesting. We will get them on the table in the feature future!
There isn't one, but pathfinder can observe twice and there is a 1 co strat that lets you get the benefits of being guided without being guided, even if you have observed already, as long as you shoot the same target
Brian is so good at explaining the rules and his decisions as he narrates. It's probably what got me into watching them many years ago....

Glad you liked it!
I don't even care if they win or lose - I just love seeing stormsurges on the table and two of them at that!

It's super hard to keep believing Bridger doesn't smoke weed
😂
Reading this comment at 18:31. Incredible timing…

Glad Brian is back. Missed him piloting Tau. A true master. And we love to see dual Stormsurges.
Res orbs are once per game ability for d6 wounds
Im here for the Double Stormsurge. Love watching you guys while doing house work.
Running Lychguard with scythes is insane with no crypteks allowed.
Yeah but also that brick no longer costs 480 pts, so, its doable, you can't just ignore them still 😀
Great battle report.

Bridger, as Miracle Max would say "Mostly dead is a little alive"

Brian had to learn the hard way! haha
2:27:20 glad they could finally understand each other
@ 2:30 i swear the front stealth suit guy has his legs on backwards...lmao
2:29 is that stealth suit dudes legs backwards? 😂
In all honesty, bringing two storm surges is a very money efficient way of building a tau list!
Also stylish!
well done guys loved every minute!
Thanks so much!
Wait when did they do a lotr game? I don't see it on their channel, where can I watch it?
It's on the Tabletop Titans Twitch channel.
Loving Brian! also love everybody here lol Hope i can meet you guys at some point
Thanks so much!
Resurrection Orbs ARE only once per game. Welcome back to the Stone Ages.
They're still good, and are makes character options more balanced
No they are not good.. @@KhanTotalGaming99
Finally a video that where Necrons have to fight instead of just bullying Ad Mech.
So I'm not sure if this gets discussed but I'm curious as someone learning Tau. Someone that spots can still shoot?
Yes, both units can shoot,
The spotter doesn't get any hit modifiers but the guided unit gets improved BS to that target but reduced BS vs any target other than the focused target.
if it was 30 days of the doritos loco ice cream then we got a deal.

Did bridger just say toss on stream?! 😂
I see stormsurges!!! Let’s go!
New toys!
"Scarbs," lmao
if i recall for hazardous it is a test based off of guns not shots. so Brian should not have rolled 18 hazardous tests unless i am mistaken
The crisis unit shot 18 guns. There were 54 shots
@@mrsmooth6456 i didn't realize that each suit could have 3 blasters, which is nutty but the math makes sense now
Yeah its pretty wild right?
@@TabletopTitans it definitely is frightening knowing that the Tau can bring guns, on guns, on guns to a fight 🤣
At the very end u piled in with sk but wouldnt the commander consolidate before sk for the attack back which keeps the sk off the point???
if I play T'au vs Necrons in a 1500 points match, how should I modify this list?
stories of the channel starting, man i miss brian.
I feel like the destroyer detachment should have been shoot/fight on death themed
That would be even worse. Any rule that requires you to die to use isn't good and definitely isn't competitive.
No. Its reroll for charges and +1 if u charge an unit under starting strenght
Where did you guys get that terrain from?
What’s the grey used on the tau model paint scheme
Russ grey with fenrisian grey highlights
Consolditation into objective or combat is not a choice you have to got into combat first if possible. Look it up. tell me if im wrong but im pretty sure im not.
I have a storm surge on the way. very exciting stuff.
They are super cool! I've always wanted one and glad I finally got them.
omg Brian!
Brian!!
I thought ctan couldn’t take more than 3 dmg in a single round?
I believe that was 9th edition.
Anyone else think the rules are pretty complicated
Yes. They never used to be years ago.
I honestly dont understand.
But, a Warhammer store will help
Awww - I'm bummed. I was excited seeing 3 barges in the list portion of the video. Now a C'Tan instead. More powerful? Maybe. More interesting? Nope.
I really wanted the barges also! The other team was worried the list was underpowered and it would make the game less interesting. We will get them on the table in the feature future!

BRIDGER WHY DID YOU NOT CP RE-ROLL THE LAST LYCHGUARD SAVE!?!
Also where wound rerolls from immortals on objs went?
Unpopular opinion maybe. But ttt is best when brian is away. Sorry. But he talks over and overpowers the second host too much for me personally
Big disagree. Bridger was barely talking at all for long stretches and Brian was filling the silence.
