it's more that white ichigo/hollow ichigo had taken control as since the actual ichigo practically died, he lost energy to push back the opposing force, the hollow side, and then this side of ichigo took over, but since white ichigo deep down wanted to protect him, instead of just completely taking over his body, he just took over to control him, before turning back and reviving ichigo.
Ichigo was more OP than the one in the quincy arc and that because he trained in the dangai and aged a lot, hint Aizen couldn't read his spirtual pressure even after transforming into mugetsu to be honest ichigo to me didnt need to transform into his last form to beat Aizen but its scrpit so i guess its okay
